I love that weird light kit and the Casablanca Halogen Star. Did the show mention anything about the Casablanca? like it was ugly/cool etc.

Awesome Nadair Mini Designer. It appears in very good condition. There is an actual date on it? 1980's Nadair do not have an obvious date on them and 2000-2008 ones usually do. I'm not sure how are the ones from around 1989-1993. There was a sticker on top "JULY - 89"

They said it was ugly and that it needed to go. Soooo they replaced it with a chandelier Dang, I hope that chandelier was worth more than a $1,000 to be worth replacing the fan. lol Man, I want a Halogen Star so bad though, shame that good fans are disappearing so fast. I mean, by what year would 99% of Vintage fans (pre-2000) would be gone?

I don't remember the chandelier... But to be honest, I understood the new owners saying it was ugly. The house was never remodeled since it's construction in the early 1990's.
So in the foyer were pastel colors, the fan and a false tree... I don't blame them for wanting something much more actual/modern/contemporary !
Judging by the fans I got at the restore, the oldest ones are aproximatly 25years old. (some are from 185-86) so lets say a fan as a 25-30 years history. So around 2020-2025, all fans past 1995-2000 would be gone

52nd, 1992 Nadair 53rd, only got the motor and blades to a lighted housing canarm. I'd say it from 1989-1991 54th, early 1990's Nadair Broken light socket, had rust spots and was left outside for a few days, under the rain. 55th, 1990 Hugger 1 of the spots was broken. No idea what it was and had a reverse swith 4 blades. 56th, early 1990's Nadair Heritage. Notice the chandelier as a light kit. the switch on the chandelier was bad, so i removed the entire chandelier. How I got it How i tested it How I sold it 57th, 1988 consumer distributing / Air cool stencil / plain blades light kit not original to the model 58th, 1996 Aloha. The clown fans, ****I found on Kijiji the exact same fan for sale. 59th, 1994 "Sunrise ??" Got a used in box fan this summer that had a lot of same things as this fan Spotted on a basement remodeling tv show. a few canarms

Speaking about the Opera, Canarm also had a very similar model, which I got in September. I just realised in the last picture (the black viento) the fan itself is glossy black while the light kit is matte black

I've worked with one of those Waldons before.. The airflow is acceptable,, but I found that the blades are droopy from not being attached very securely to the irons..

I put a Hunter Waldon and Hunter Westminster up in my old house when I took the old NuTones with me. They aren't bad fans. The cherry blades look nice and they have some really snazzy light kits. In the Midwest, both of those fans are sold exclusively at Lowe's.
I still think Hunter makes some decent stuff. They also make great looking light kits that fit in well with modern decor. I notice that the Hunters at Menards here in the Midwest seem to be a step up in quality and looks from the ones at Lowe's and Home Depot. I have an Etruscan, Rockledge, and Landsdowne from Menards and am thrilled with all three. They are attractive, move good air, and have beautiful light kits. They aren't as cool as vintage fans, but they're good compared to what else is currently on the market, IMHO.

62. 1990's canarm. Now in our workshop, as the previous fan was too small and on a downrod. (this one will be up for about a month, because we're FINALLY supposed to remodel this section) this one came with an integrated 4 lights fitter. 63. 2005 Kendal Lighting AC9042-AB

Nice fans! I enjoy the Nadair Ge vent ceiling fan and I wish that I had it and the small 6 blade white fan.
