WOW!!!!!!! Now thats alot of ceiling fans for Menards. Nice pics dan one of my friends told me I should go to Menards and check out their ceiling fan. But I still havent been to Menards but Im thinking about working there sometime next year. Some day I should get one of those profile Huggers to have them with my collection of my ceiling fans

If you have a Menards in your area you should stop by. Some have a larger fan section than others.

there isn't a menards here at all in san angelo tx
we have a do it best hardware store and a store called higgenbothams in brady tx that is about 1hr from me but i have never been in it before also just like what the other fan collectors were saying dan u took some really great photos keep them coming u must have a very expensive camera to take such great photos

That was my dad's old camera, it broke, which was a shame because it took the best pictures out of all the cameras I've used.

Its not something you can always tell to anyone just like that. Most of peoples don't care about that.

I did get some funny looks taking the pictures. I think they thought I was a spy from another store.

I might tell them "one of my hobbies is fixing up old ceiling fans and getting them back out into the community", and that as either part of volunteering at Habitat or fixing stuff in general (girls want a handyman, right? especially if they're looking to get married.)

I WOULDN'T tell them that I know 50 obscure things about every make and model of fan known to man, that I can tell you a brand of ceiling fan just by looking at it, that I spend a lot of time on a ceiling fan website, etc. etc. etc.

I also wouldn't let anything ceiling fan related be the first thing someone finds out about me.

Oh most definitely. More that I think about it, my ex girlfriend thought it was kind of cool, we occasionally discussed them.. I helped her pick out the Hunter that I installed in her bedroom for her..

So she kind of knew, and just called me a dork for it.

I actually have a few close friends that know about my addiction..

Actually, one of my friends has become much more interested in them since westarted discussing them.
