Broke two of the five glass pieces to my fan . Anyone have an old fan collecting dust that you want to sell or of any spare pieces?

I don't think they will be very easy to find. You may need to replace the light kit.

Yeah, you may need a new light kit and/or new shades.

That's a bummer. I don't really want a new light kit. If I can figure how to post a picture, then you understand why I hope to find these.

Load your picture to Photobucket and paste the link (bottom one underneath the picture) into your message here, simple as that. Can't say it's going to be easy to find them though, Cali Zephyrs aren't all that common in the first place...

Why do they call them CALIFORNIA Zephyrs? Also, you might be able to simply buy a matching set of five class pieces, and install them instead.

The California Zephyr is a different model than the GE Vent Zephyr you're used to. It's modern, and looks nothing like a regular Zephyr. Also, many of the light kits that are commonly installed are modern and uniquely styled, so not all globes are gonna work or look good. There are many variations of the Zephyr, also including the Zephyr Turbo and the spinner motor Next Generation Zephyr. Zephyr: California Zephyr (this one has a less odd light kit):

It's probably easier if you use a photo hosting website like Photobucket, Flickr, Imageshack, etc.

Casablanca does not carry the glass pieces anymore. They contracted with Fabbian Glass to the globes. I contacted Fabbian to see if they saved their molds, but haven't heard back from them. If anyone wants to see the picture I could email it to you. Thanks!

I wondered if it was a Fabbian. Is there something else you might be able to use? As long as you don't throw the fan away, I'm good.

Definitely not getting rid of the fan, it's hanging up now, minus two glass pieces!!! To change the glass I would have to get a totally different light kit. These glass pieces are opaque, kind of flat, well actually kind of curved, fluted 7"x12" and they sit on the bracket. So pretty. I guess I will take them to a glass person to try and re-create them. Just by a weird coincidence, the electrician that installed the fan in my new house has a sister, that has this same fan in white (mine's mahogany) and wanted to sell the fan. I was so excited!! All I really cared about was the glass pieces. But she wanted over a thousand dollars!!! Yikes. Said it was a limited edition, etc, etc. (all of which I already knew), but too much money!
