Never saw this particular one before.
Really interesting that it mentions Crompton Parkinson of UK with the Indian Crompton Greaves.

Fixed.. Andrew!!! Stop that! ..Oops! But in all seriousness, I see FAR more of these things labeled as 'Airmaster' than anything else.

You know after seeing that it says Michigan on it even if its made in England I made further more researches about Air Master and to my great disappointment I found that Air Master is an American company not British. Air Master is just a American relabeled for those. Relite would be more the real brand. Relite is currently base in Singapore. That's a 48'' one you have Andrew? What do you hate so much about it other than the skinny blades and the fact that it uses a lot of plastic? It does not moves as much air as the good ol' Taiwanese and Hong Kong made Industrials? The motor is weak?

ok that has really surprised me.. but.. i guess relite (as relite electric limited) started production before airmaster the 1989 model motor: the 1975 model motor: the shape of late 70s- mid 80s fan looks exactly like airmaster u posted update: TMT regulator (needs some welding) Relite is currently base in Singapore. the singaporian one is known as relite speciality, they have a similar text logo to the british relite, the british one is known as relite fans lmited or relite electric limited (before july 1 1980) the british relite is still in business, i hope they still manufacture the same awesome fan

What do you hate so much about it other than the skinny blades and the fact that it uses a lot of plastic? It does not moves as much air as the good ol' Taiwanese and Hong Kong made Industrials? The motor is weak? The fact remains that they were manufactured in Britain, it doesn't really matter what they're labeled. It's just like Four Seasons Venair, they're still Synlix no matter what sticker you put on them (though it probably wasn't a good idea to rake up that controversy again). I've never known what they were labeled outside of the US, but I don't really care as much because I just call them Airmaster no matter what, and in some cases Relite now that the name has come to my attention. The thing with these fans is not only the plastic and cheapo blades, but that they really weren't made to hold up in the industrial environments they were made for. The bearings gave out in a matter of just a couple years, the motors get very warm when on for extended periods of time, and they're just plain cheap. They move adequate air all things considered, and they're some of my favorite industrials, but they're really kind of like the Her!t@ge of industrials from that era.
