I found, on the front porch of an abondoned house, a 36" ceiling fan. Made by Calcutta (little sticker on switch housing). Casablanca-style flywheel. Variable speed. Reversable. REALLY rusted, tarnished, pitted. J-hook mounting system. Don't know if it works. Light kit adaptable. Short blade holder arms...like old Casablanca Four Seasons.
And info/takers?

I'd be interested . . . call me. Never heard of Calcutta, though, from what I can remember.

Please email me (lord_pierce@yahoo.com) with your current phone #, now that you are back home. And the best time to call you.

Do you have a pic of the fan?

Pics will be up in a week or two.
BTW, what is the risk of taking this fan home? The home is along main street on a valuable plot of land, in a section of town where the cops are pretty tough. Since I haven't gotten permission from the owner of the house (if there is one), what would you guys say is reasonable criteria for just taking the damn thing?
