I like the original antique ones better, but those are cool too. It also has the same name as the city I live in.(Fargo) ;D

I got one of these in nickel and chrome finish for christmas in 2006. It came from Amazon.com. Will have photo of it soon.

I never seen any of the antique ones.
I've seen the Fargo in person at a local showroom. Its much smaller than what it appears to be in the pictures. It looked cool but I prefer fans with real blades.

I have a book of antique fans that has pics of them in it, though I don't know where it is. They have the same general shape, but the cage is an open cylinder and the blades spin sideways, instead of like a regular desk fan. They weren't called the Fargo either, they were called Banker's Fans I think.

I dont remember if they were actually called Banker's Fans, or if that's what collectors call them.

Yeah, that's what I was wondering as well. It seemed they were supposed to appeal to the teller peolpe at banks, so it would make sense I suppose.
