I finished "brassifing" the parts and reassembled the motor. I drilled and tapped extra holes in the motor so that it can now take 2,3,4 or 6 blades instead of just 2 or 4. Heare are the pictures. note that the brass has a brushed appearence (like fasco bright brass).

To drill the extra holes for the blades you had to take apart the motor shell??
Its too yellow. Does golden transparent spray paint exist? Because there a big differance between golden and yellow.

That really looks good! It's not too wild, but it's not plain either. I like the idea of one of them with 6 blades! ;D

Because there a big differance between golden and yellow. No golden transparent spray paint does not exist as far as I know. The colors that I know are available are red, yellow, green, blue & purple. I wish I could find a coppery(pinkish orange) colored and a smoke (like car window tint) transparent spray paint.

Yes otherwise you might damage the windings.
I have seen copper, brass, and silver rustoleum.

I glued wood veneer on to the blades of the hunter so that I can stain them. Here is a picture of the Potomac with 6 blades. And here is a image of the veneered blades & a moss wf I found on Thursday that some one threw out most likely because they were redecorating as it works perfectly. it even had bulbs in the light kit. finally here is a picture of a blender-fan that I am refinishing.

Why does the Blender have two canopies? And the Moss WF as well? Or is that just one of your modification tricks.

the hunter six blade does not look right at all. It's the blades and brackets. If one were to find six blades from two bath/dressingroom fans, it would look MUCH better.

Ah yes, make a "brass" blender.. that would actually look really cool. It is either going to be "burnished brass", antique white, white w/"brass" accents or if I can figure out how "burnished copper". Why does the Blender have two canopies? The lower canopy covers the capacitor and the motor mounting strap And the Moss WF as well? Or is that just one of your modification tricks. I could not fide the original mounting hardware for the wf so I had to Get a ball bracket canopy for it. I wanted to keep the original canopy on the fan so I turned it into a lower canopy. Nice WF, are you restoring it? yes I had to get mounting hardware for it and I had to glue a delaminated blade (one of the plies separated some contact adhesive fixed that) What type/size is that blender-fan? 3 bladers are hard to find. k55 52" 3 plastic blade originally white. one of my 2 white one the paint on this one was in bad shape as it was not primed in the factory. (my paint stripper that normally has to soak parts for 30 minutes before you can scrape the paint off. caused paint to start to peel from its own weight in 5 minutes.)
