I love the Canarms, my favorite is when industrials have just slightly bent downward blades with a large curve at the end. ;D Looks like a four curved blades industrial in that pic, looks really interesting. Yeah I know what you mean about the curved blades. I also like when they are like that. The ones I photographed are like that. Yeah your right about the 4 curved blades spinner. And if you looks up close you can see that it looks exactly like the Four Seasons Venair Spinner 36'' but in white with metal curved blades. That's awesome! 4 curved blades industrials are common around here.

Yeah, I did notice it looked like the Four Seasons you got, with that flat motor.

You should check it out when you can. Yeah and there a few more older ceiling fans in my area that I suspect that these places will throw their fans. 1. A very old 1970s dry cleaner have two white &PB Golden Fans 48'' with pointed tip blades 2. I suspect a abandoned Car repair shop pretty close of me that it would have some white 4 curved blades Fan-Aire 36'' Industrials in it. (From what I remember) 3. A older lumber yard/hardware store have a couple of various older Industrials(Canarms, TAT, Moss) including a brown & PB Golden Fan 48'' with cane blades and a white 36'' SMC Laguna with stencil blades. Those are blurry in my mind but that what I remember.

You should definitely get pictures, and try to get the fans out of the abandoned buildings.

Today I went to an Italian restaurant for the St-Jean Day and in the same mall where that restaurant is there is an old dry cleaner that have some white Golden Fans 48'' in it. Everything in that dry cleaner is so old, so 1970s. Notice the old groovy silver and black design on the wall. The ceiling is pretty beat up but the place in not abandoned, its just that when I took that picture the stores was closed as its the St-jean Baptiste, nobody is working that day. I remembered there was at least two but I noticed that there was a 3rd one totally in the back and that's only the left side of the store they were probably more on the right side. In that same mall there a small barber shop with this 36'' spinner installed at the corner of wall and the window. The reverse pull chain must be on the other side of the switch housing cut off short. All the parts are very Four Seasons Venair. All those pictures were taken through the windows from the outside. Those fans were not a surprise to me, I know they were all there so I brought my camera. The other day I went to a place to buy a frame for a canvas( I can post a pic of it in the General section if you wants) I did and in that place there was two OLDER Canarm Industrials 56'' with the WIDE curved and the Evergo style motor. The ones I saw did not have the TAT design in the blades, they had plain blades so I guess they were more from the mid 1980s. They had a generic bell canopy so they were Canamrs for sure. It was a long time that I did not saw one of those. Last time I saw some it was in 2006. I used to see them everywhere back in the late 1990s early 2000s. But it was the first time I went there so I did not know theses fans were there so I did not bring my camera.

Never seen a GFE with pointed tip blades, although nothing surprises me anymore. It's also interesting to see that at least one of these fans has square tip blades. I wonder if one of them is newer than the others? Replacement blades? Different size fans? You got whatever tips they felt like putting in the box that day?

I also notice that the two back ones appears to have square tip blades. Notice also the downrod appears that it was PB too. But its all tarnish. Its not what I call brass anymore. I had in mind that they were in better condition than that. Anyone have anything to say about the 36'' spinner.

yep and that's why i love heavy fans except if it falls on me,i get hurt(like if it gets mounted incorrectly by a non fan collector or person who don't like fans but happy to help out by install them for the owner)
but i love heavy fans on same reasons what you said jean.
hope you ask the owner for those fans so the owner won't throw them out in future if they ever do upgrade..and if works out, jean will have his first golden fan spinner...WOOOT
