I agree, that switch housing is very Tatung. The brackets are CEC though. The canopy seems to be CEC from what I can see, too.

All Four Seasons Venair use CEC/Synlix parts. Sometimes some Tatung parts too.
Some Four Seasons Venair are exactly like some real CEC(only they are relabeled) like the Angles 52'' spinners that I saw but most are a mix of different parts.
I know we cannot really see the canopy but its a flat CEC double claw mounting canopy like on my pink spinner.

Some Tatungs were a mix of Moss and CEC parts from the look of it.

A lot of companies used the same factories, and a lot of factories borrowed designs from others.

You should check it out when you can. Yeah and there a few more older ceiling fans in my area that I suspect that these places will throw their fans. 1. A very old 1970s dry cleaner have two white &PB Golden Fans 48'' with pointed tip blades 2. I suspect a abandoned Car repair shop pretty close of me that it would have some white 4 curved blades Fan-Aire 36'' Industrials in it. (From what I remember) 3. A older lumber yard/hardware store have a couple of various older Industrials(Canarms, TAT, Moss) including a brown & PB Golden Fan 48'' with cane blades and a white 36'' SMC Laguna with stencil blades. Those are blurry in my mind but that what I remember. go get pics of those place jean!!want to see that

yes jean but i want pics of the 2 other places!non jamais té dans louest dla ville The abandoned car repair shop its impossible, the windows are covered with plywood but I remember theses fans from before they went out of business. The lumber yard have now renovated so I don't think they are still there. It was before a Pro and now its a Rona. I be surprised if they are still there.

Its one Boulevard Pierrefond. It does not have any garage door but yes there is a big hole in the plywood but its hard to see inside. There also the possibility that the fans have been removed.

At a shabby street corner Hardware store very close by where I bought my white tassel and the returned 4-speed Leviton wall control they had in the back corner of the store this 36'' 4 curved blades Industrial. It was only the second time I went there. Last time was in 1999 and I remembered seeing some 4 metal curved blades fans there so BEFORE going there I toughed about brining my camera. ;D I also remembered seeing a brown 48''' one above the cash at the front of the store but it wasn't there anymore. Its still a miracle that the white 36'' one is still there. When I went it was spinning on a sort of medium speed and blew a good amount of air for a small fan like that. Like you can see its in very good condition. The paint on the motor still shines. It was wobbling gently and humming quietly. I guess the point of having 4 metal blades instead of 3 is to procure a softer air noise while spinning on highest speeds. Like I said it was on medium and it did not had any loud air noise, very quiet. Philippe is exactly like the one you took the pic of in a church except this one is 36''. It have Fan-Aire canopies and a Commander Angel motor. I'm gonna keep a close eye on it. I WANTS one so bad. ;D Here is the display at my local Rona Hardware store. (The one with the unknown straight bladed Industrials) Sometimes the fans on their display is running. This time is wasn't. So there a Hunter 52'' missing the bowl shade(forgot the name), a SMC Scandinave 42'', a brushed nickel Canarm Eclipse 42'', a the right back there an antique brass Canarm Monet 42'', a white Canarm Eclipse 42'' and the the right front is a Canarm Calibre 48'' remote controlled.

I wonder if my unknown hardware store fans were Fan Aire. I think those were the canopies on them, that motor looks awfully close to what I remember as well. BTW, no luck trying to get those. We called the place that supposedly had them a few times and they didn't return our calls. Very nice Jean, I hope that fan can be yours one day.

Cole remind me what fans you reference.
Jean that hardware store fan is very cool! How many do/did they have, and how many were removed?
