That industrial is interesting, no clue what it could be either but it does look like a SMC AK56 except for the blade arm rivet positions

Fallowing the two pictures I posted at the beginning of December of the two old spinners in an abandoned garage, here are more pictures that shows better the environment where the fans are. I went a second time in mid December and took theses additional pictures. I should have posted them before. The fans are not as far up as I remembered. The regular gray door you see next to the graffiti is 2 meters tall to give you an idea so the ceiling is about 5 meters tall. The fans are not installed directly on the ceiling but on a steel beam so the mountings of the fans would be about 4,5 m from the ground. The height is not that much of a problem, I even found a place very close of the abandoned site that rents 5 m long A-frame ladders for very cheap but try transporting an A-frame ladder this long in a Hyundai Accent without violating road code. I found the control. Notice the 4 Seasons have a nice blue and orange sticker on the lower canopy. The Canarm. I went there again for a third time very recently. The gate was opened and there was a truck parked close to the smaller garage. Later I saw the truck leave. There is still activity around that place but no sign to be seen with a phone number. At this point I would prefer to talk to someone and try to do this in a more honest way. Anyway it's too risky transporting such a long ladder in a regular size car. I should have went to see the person in the truck and talk with him/her.

Same control for both fans?

Same control for both fans? I believe so, it's the only ceiling fan control I found there. How do you mange to transport a 5 m long A-frame ladder? You have a special vehicle?

Find one of those folding 'A-frame' ladders, perhaps?

Jean, it's worth getting them for your collection. Rent a truck from your local home improvement store and rent a ladder there, as well.

You really think that I will spend that much just for two filthy fans in bad physical condition. I don't even know if they work fine.

Oh. Well if you were able to get inside, can you test to see if they work, if there's electric?

I would assume the electricity is shut off since he would have tested them otherwise.
I've used my dad's minivan to transport my ladders, as well as my station wagon when I had one. They usually hung out the back window.

We always haul my dad's big A-frames on an SUV. Could see a minivan working okay, anything much smaller and I see the issues developing lol. I of course would prefer you got them honestly, but if there's no number obviously posted, there doesn't seem to be much interest in maintaining the integrity of the building (just look at the damage and graffiti lol).

There is no more electricity in the place. All the big leading wires are cut outside. Theses fuse boxes have been vandalized for the metal. When I first notice the control, the knob was still pointing towards ''High''. I clicked it off before taking the picture.
