Last one looks like Evergo/Union to me. Yes, yes it does. Jean, just because a fan has been re-labeled as one brand does not mean that ALL of them have have been re-labeled. Maybe in the US they are tons of mix matched labels but theses around here are Canarms most of the time. Canarm have always been the main supplier of affordable quality industrial/commercial ceiling fans in Québec.

Union and Evergo were the names of the factories. Canarm was a relabel.
I've never seen a Canarm with the 3 protruding nuts and the circle in the center, have you?
You should rent a ladder. I'd let you use mine if you were remotely close.

I'd let you use mine if you were remotely close. The factory that made them is not always what's the most important to me but more the brand that they were commercialized under. I've seen plenty of theses old Canarms with the circle and the three screws on the sides. Just in the thread, if you go a few pages back you will see some. On some pictures the circle can be hard to see but they usually have the circle. The slightly later ones using TAT parts never have screws around the motor though. I often thought that the beefy version using TAT parts was the first generation but now that I think about it, it makes more sens the the ones made by Evergo/Union are the first ones. Theses can be easily pre-1980 while the ones using TAT parts are usually at least 1983 it seems. The 3rd version (probably 1986 ish) looks just like the second one except that the motor is thinner. I have a very long ladder here but a ladder have to be put against a wall. I need an A-frame ladder to put in the middle of a room. They are many tools and equipment renting places around here. I've check some prices online for renting a very tall ladder for a few hours and it's not expansive at all so I think I will do it. I just hope that there tallest ladder will be tall enough to reach theses fans.

I know all the ones you say are Canarms, but none of them show a tag. I have no idea what they are labeled.
You can use an extension ladder, lean it against one of the metal joists. It's scarier but it can be done.

I HATE extension ladders. That's why I have every height of A frame from 8' to 16'.

It's scarier but it can be done. Usually they have a Canarm sticker on the lower canopy and on the top of the motor they would have a green Union or Evergo sticker. Often the sticker on the canopy can be faded or peeled off. Oh! I did not thought about doing that with an extension ladder. It sound scary indeed. I would be afraid that the ladder would slide of the sides. I might try it and if it does not work or it's too scary then I will rent a very tall A-frame ladder. Of course I won't do this alone.

Did you had any problems? Did the ladder felt like it wanted to slide on the sides? Nah, I was only dealing with a 10' ceiling... but it was a K63 blender I was plucking, though.

Oh that's nothing compare to the ceiling of the garage that theses are installed on. It's probably double that. K63 fans are particularly heavy? If the weight if the matter, the Canarm would not be better, they are super heavy spinners. The 4 Seasons is not too heavy for a vintage spinner though and it's this on that I'm really interested in.

This "Canarm" shouldn't be overly difficult to deal with.

More interesting sightings! A local shopping mall have a pair of Canarm 5th generation 140 cm above each main entrance. You can see at the bottom of the picture, the canopy for the other fan. The main difference with the current generation is that the blades are a little bit skinnier, they have no lines and usually a sticker actually saying Canarm on the lower canopy which is also found on 1980s Canarms. Now downtown. A café with five brass Hampton Bay Antiguas 140 cm on a an old victorian style ceiling painted in copper. Theses are some of the rare Hampton Bays that I really like. They are beautiful fans in the brass finish. A closeup of the fifth one. A clothing store have at least five chrome Encon Industrials 90 cm from the late 1990s to early 2000s. Three of them were install very close together in a row. I was surprised to see that they have this canopy instead of a two stepped shaped canopy like Westinghouse and Monte Carlo still uses and that it does not have the round nut in the middle of the motor but it's a genuine Encon. A NIB white model on Montreal Kijiji proves it. The blades are pretty wide on theses considering they are probably not any older than 1997. A book store have two of theses. What are they? They have a slim classic shape spinner motor but the blades are nice and wide. They remind me of an SMC AK56. This book store was very silent at the point that if the fans would have been noisy I could have heard them very easily. They were spinning on a regular low speed and they were extremely silent. They were obviously not on a variable speed control. Now THESES in an Italian restaurant. What are theses things!? The install is very weird too. They are four of theses huge fans in that restaurant. Three white ones installed in a row, very close together. Their blades could touch the blades of the other fans but I think they have been able to install one lower so that their blades do not touch even thought they are in the way of each others. One would have it's blades span lower than the two other. Notice they have pull chains around that flood light kit. It uses a PAR20 light bulb. The fourth one is a glossy black one installed alone at the back of the restaurant. The blade span of theses things is definitely wider than 132 cm. The blades are clearly plastic. They're are kind of ugly but kind of interesting at the same time. I wonder how old they are. Happy Holidays!

Nice sightings Jean! I love the Antiguas on that ceiling! The industrial looks kind of like a Hampton Bay Industrial from the late 90s, early 00s, but I'm not sure. Those 4 blade things are weird, yet cool, what are they? Happy Holidays to you, too! (:

I kinda like the 5th gen. Canarms, I like the blades with no lines but they'd be even better if they were just a bit wider.
Those Encon industrials are so cute. They may be cheap, but small industrials are always awesome, and so is chrome lol.
Not sure what the other industrial is.
Never seen those four blade things before. Hideous, but certainly unique.
