Here are a few of the other fans they had at Entraide Mercier: To cool the store they had about 3 or 4 white Canarm Sirocco 52''with cane facing ceiling. David even turned them off for me so I could take a better pic. In the fans for sale: They were all really affordable. Most 10-15$! First this odd Emperor. Odd because it have a reverse switch! On a vintage fan!? That fan must come right away from USA. It uses a type of Moss canopy double claw mounting and the canopy is two pieces. The top one is like a Moss and the bottom part is a little separated round part. There was no sticker on it at all. The blades were just regular oak and cane blades. This Canarm 52'' dated of May 1997. Apparently its one of the one from the Royal Collection. This weird thing that was missing its blades. The housing is so small that the motor fills the whole housing. It had the same yellow and green sticker that my Chunky Ge vent fan have. 1990s White Nadair Mercury 52'' with lighted disc White Canarm Eclipse 42'' with the light kit removed. This thing is so light in weight. 1990s Nadair Saturn 52'' with lighted sideband. Notice the oval Nadair pull chains. I NEVER saw a Nadair with theses pulls and yes it says Nadair on the pulls. There was also a white SMC Laguna 36'' also dated of 1989 but I already have one, there was a Canarm 56'' Industrial dated of 2000 but it was badly scratched. If it was not that scratched I would have take it was only 10$. There was a Canarm Unity 36'' spinner with ivory tassels. A SMC 42'' dark chrome hugger....and more that I don't remember. There was also a set of early four early 80s Banvil wood blades but they were pretty scratched.

The lighted disc and sideband fan I like, as well as the Royal collection fan. That fan would look so great in my room!

Hey Philippe on one of theses 1990s Nadair I saw a sticker on the top of the housing of one of theses that looked exactly like on your spinner 36'' and my Chunky GE Vent fan so I'm guessing your two spinners and my Chunky GE Vent would be Nadairs. YEAH! Some early Nadair from the 1980s. Most of Nadairs we see are always from the 1990s and 2000s but those would be what looked like the 1980s Nadairs.

UPDATED ABOUT THE ABANDONED BUILDING:Hey Philippe you know that abandoned building we went? Well a few days ago a truck with the name GOT-JUNK? on it cammed near that building and started cleaning the place and they removed one of the front plywood panels that covers the windows. Today I return to the building and I have been able to get INSIDE as one of the plywood is removed but there was no more truck or no one near it. Inside I saw one fan still hanging but its not a 4 curved bladed Four Seasons Venair. Just like I remembered its a white 36'' Industrial but the one I saw have 3 blades...yes curved but 3 of them. By the upper canopy that was a plunger type canopy it appeared to be a 36'' Banvil Gold Line. Its pretty rusty and I guess one of the blades is bent but I could not see well the details as it was dark in there and I did not stayed too long in there because its DIRTY and smelled like mildew(moisissure) YARK! I did not touched anything to be sure to not be contaminated. It really looks like a building of Prypiat.

When at was at Trois-Rivieres to see my sister me and my parents stayed at the Delta hotel for two days (cause my sister's apt cannot accommodate 5 persons) they have in downtown Trois-Rivieres. In the lounge near the lobby they had this antique brass Kendal Builder 52'' on a VERY long downrod cause it was hanging from the ceiling of the above room. Yeah really COOL install. And its installed between the stairs that leads to the restaurant which is what's above the lobby lounge. When your in the restaurant what you see when you approaches the stairs is a insanely long downrodand a fan at the end of it so you get to see the fan spinning from the top and you can be pretty close of it. REALLY cool! It was on low the whole time I was there. Same as this: www.kendallighting.com/products/fans/ac6852-abIn a café we went to with my sister on Christmas day(yes it was opened!) there were two brushed nickel Kendal Studios 54''(Monte Carlo makes them too) on low on a high ceiling. Its was the first time I see theses in motion. They look really cool! Apparently I'm not destiny to take a pic of theses cause I left my camera in the car when we were in that café and there was one JUST above our table. 10ft up in the air and I could feel something! They have fast low speeds...like 70-80RPMs! Theses: www.kendallighting.com/products/fans/ac8354-bstMy sister also cleaned her fans cause she knew I was coming and last time they were dust and she know about my collection and thinks its kinda of cool! ;D

I've been in lots of hotels with similar installs, and I love it every time I see it, no matter how cheap the fan is because it's just a really cool install.

The fans at the house where I'm currently staying in Ste-Therese for College. Living room: Westinghouse Installer's Choice 52'' Dining room: Nadair Contempara 42'' Kitchen: Nadair Studio 42'' That Nadair Studio, I did not know they made a 42'' version of it. My grand-parents have the matching track light fixtures in their downstairs bathroom which were installed around 1995-96 and they have the plain ceiling fan with glossy blades in their bedroom from the early 1990s. That particular Studio 42'' must be from the mid to late 1990s. The 52'' version had a rounded housing with the two gold brand at the tip of the blades and was sold up to 2005-2006. The Contempara was sold between 2000-2009. That Westinghouse I'm not 100% sure if Installer's Choice its the correct name cause Westinghouse site is currently unavailable so I can't check. Notice the blades mounts on some sort of flywheel like the Design & Combine. I could not get a picture of her Hunter Summer Breeze Plus cause its in her bedroom and its private. Its white & PB, the blades are very wide(like most Hunters) and it look really nice.

Neat fans, Jean! The Nadairs are cool, and I do like the Westinghouse. I know they made a fan called "The Advantage Plus" at one time (90s?); it had that flywheel thing and the canopy was the same. That one could be "The Advantage Plus," but I'm not sure. It may be an Installer's Choice like you said. Neat pics anyhow.

Hunter Summer Breeze Plus 52'' Hey I ben able to get a pic of her Summer Breeze Plus! Nice fan hen? She was out to the grocery store and left her door open so I could flick this. Shtt don't tell her. LOL. It was on low when I took this so instead of waiting till the blades stop moving I took it with the flash. She use it a lot, notice the dust on the blades.........and notice how the blades are WIDE. That's the great thing about Hunters even the current ones are still very wide. Also notice the white & PB finish is a pretty rare finish for that fan. But I remember it was sold exclusively at Réno-Dépot in that finish around 2003-2004.

Not bad on the Summer Breeze, I agree about the wide blade thing, even my LP has those nice wide blades.

My college have a few Canarms Industrials here and there. A few classes, especially the arts classes and computer rooms have 36'' Canarms on long downrod in them. Unfortunately this session I don't have any courses in any classes with the 36'' Canarms in them. We also have a Coop INSIDE the College where we can buy our book, manuals, pens and other supplies you might need and in the store there 5 56'' ones. The ceiling is not too high so they are hanging pretty low. Usually they are spinning but today they were all off so I took this pic. They are on Banvils variable speed controls. Still awating the day that I could finally get one of those. Its kind of weird in a way that I don't have one yet cause they are EVERYWHERE in Québec. If I really want one I could always buy it new they even sell them in Home centers around here but they are 76$. Is it worth it?
