Keep in mind that video is often of crappy quality, so I'd get both stills and video.

I'm not really a video person. I'd get a camera with an empty card and take a buttload of pictures.

I'm an aquaintance of the man who owns the White Pillars Building. All the fans are for sale but trust me, they're not cheap AT ALL.

How much is "not cheap"? It kind of depends on the fan as well.

I would love to have that six-blade 32" Emerson Longnose in the ninth picture down from the top. I love it!
I too would like to know this collector's price range. I imagine the ones that are in good shape or restored will fetch a pretty penny.

I hope he is willing to make individual sales. I wouldn't see why not.

I'm told it was more than $50,000. A member of the AFCA who has the resources came and looked and walked away, saying there was too much he wasn't interested in.
I believe the 6 blade Emerson is $600.
I'm in Metairie, Elder.

I expected more than $600 for that Emerson. It's in good condition, but $600 is much better than I expected.

Well, there is certainly plenty there that I am interested in, that's for sure. The $600 price on the Emerson is around what I was expecting, since the six bladers are much more rare than most of the four blade Longnoses and such.

only thing i can say that the only way this building would be good for is to start a ceiling fan collecting club. with fans from the pass and present.

If someone who had the interest and resouces turned it down, I can only assume it's not worth it.
