The little plastic thing seems to have a U shape. Yeah I noticed that most of Hunters always have some very different types of pulls. Usually very decorative. My favorites pulls are the classic popular wood drop shaped ones(that what my Craftmade have) and the tassels pull are even better. But unfortunately they are not made anymore. My local Canadian Tire store used to sell them up to very recently. But for the past year they really don't sells them anymore. But apparently Westinghouse still makes the white ones. But I don't like them in white, they looks much better in beige.

Yes, it's basically a U shape
I of course like tassels best, but I only have three tassel pulls, so then I would pick the wood drop ones. I don't like those porcelain or figurine kind of pulls. I think those belong as ornaments on a Christmas Tree, not on a ceiling fan.

Some of the newer Hunters have those "breakaway" connectors so that people who put weight on them don't ruin the pull switch.

GREAT gift. I've NEVER received a ceiling fan as a gift. New ones are too expensive, plus folks would have no idea what kind to get me.
GORGEOUS fan too. Can it be installed without the light kit?
I assume it was probably a return to some other store, as Hunter would not let it out of the factory with defective blades, they'd simply replace with a new set.

I'm attempting to get a new set of blades, but Hunter representatives are off work until Monday.
No, it can't be installed without the light kit, unless one of us collectors does some modifications.
This is the first ceiling fan I've gotten as a gift, as I showed interest in it at Tuesday Morning.

No, Tuesday Morning is for new products, like Big Lots.

Yeah, Dan is right. It was still a $200 fan, and that's half price of what it originally was. Troy got lucky with his Panama, that was real cheap for a Casa!

Good point, they have great stuff there. I kind of feel like a dork in there because there are only ever women shopping at ours, and of course the fans are located on the opposite side of the store than the door, so I have to trek across the whole store with middle aged women looking at me like I'm a bad child.

That is a lovely 1896 Art Noveau! I have seen those at my local Tuesday Morning as well. I was tempted to get one. I really like the styling on those. Most definitely a good fan for any collector. Does that have the Airmax motor or the high output (standard) motor?
I agree, the tassels do match that ceiling fan very well.
I have never received a ceiling fan as a gift before, either. I know my folks probably won't get me one because of the number that I have already. But, I got some software that I wanted for Christmas, albeit not something on my ceiling fan want list.

Very nice fan I like that one! I also saw those at the Tuesday Morning located near myself. Did you attempt to contact Hunter to resolve the blade problem?
