What kind of fans would you put in it? Okay, here we go. For me, a 5 bedroom colonial with a wrap-around porch. 4 white PSC 4 blade orginals(real-wood blades, not MDF) on said porch. In the master bedroom will be a k55 ornate emerson casablanca classic in white/AB. In the music room, there will be two brass casablanca lady deltas with walnut blades. In the library there will be an IT AB casablanca victorian with a 5 light kit. In the living room there will be 2 brass casa deltas with oak blades and k4s light kits. In the kitchen will be a white 42" emerson 1895, and in the dining room will be a IT BB victorian. In my son's room there will be a fasco builder in BB (he's a bad seed, gets in a lot of trouble at school, so he doesn't deserve a high quality fan). In my daughter's room there will be a delta II in dusty rose with a spotlight kit. And last but not least, in the guest room there will be a white 52" emerson 1895 with a schoolhouse light. now tell us y'alls

Wow, you've got it all planned out. I don't know about the house or the fans for me.

I would love to get a Queen Anne House. I also like a lot those Plantation houses that are popular in Louisiana with large wrap-around porches.
I'm not sure which one in which room but here some fans I would like to have in my house:
Casablanca Ventura 42'' 3-speed in PB installed with 4 oak blades Casablanca Panama 50'' XLP-2000 4-speed in PB installed with 4 medium oak blades. Casablanca Zephyr 52'' variable speed True Hang canopy in PB with medium oak blades At least one SMC Laguna SMC Park Avenue 52'' and/or SMC A52 in PB SMC Park Avenue III 42'' 4 stencil blades no light kit At least one 3-speed PB Hunter Original. Whatever 42'' or 52'' any from 1985 to today. The maybe ones: A red Craftmade Decorative would be awesome too and also a PB Emerson 1895 Series whatever 42'' or 52'' (I don't care) But its the only Emerson I really like. And only the later ones with stencil and generic ball socket canopy.
I would like pretty much all these fans in polished brass with medium/golden oak, without light kit. I could also accept some of them in white & PB but no all white fans except maybe an all white Laguna I would not mind. Except for the red Craftmade Decorative would looks great with 4 spot light kit or a single fitter. But for the light kit it really depends in what room they are installed in but most of them would have no light kit. And if the house would have rooms with pretty tall ceiling I would never install any Laguna in a room with a ceiling higher than 10' because IMO most of spinner with switch housing looks bad/weird on long downroads.

I would have to see the house. The fans depend on the rooms. I dont already have a dream house in mind. I know I like high ceilings, lots of windows, wood, but not dark.

I'm not a fan of those either, they look strange in my opinion.

I like lighted housing fans, just not those ones because like Ben said, they look quite tacky. I like the floral huggers, Codeps and whatnot with lighted housings.

Richard likes them, for some reason. But it seems as though Richard likes EVERY fan.
