That is very cool, the cage pattern is interesting and it's not all broken up. It looks to be in very good condition.

I love those deco guards! My favorite box fan is the Manning Bowman MOB T-1. This is the Toastmaster (same thing) MOB T-7. Later version.

Yes, I've seen the Manning Bowman one and I must agree that it's a very cool box fan.

Do you know someone who has one?

No I don't, but there was one 2-3 years ago at a thrift store in BAD condition. It was very sad, the cages were broken and if I remember correctly a blade was bent badly and the switch was yanked out.

Too bad, I could have used the parts.

Yeah, speaking of that thrift store, I was volunteering there all morning today for church. I picked up a grey Lakewood box fan, nothing special. They also had a Heritage multi-color hugger that I wanted to throw through the window ;D and another ceiling fan that I couldn't tell what it was.

What did it look like?

It's very difficult to explain, I think it's some sort of higher end builder fan, or just something from a hardware store. If it's still there next time I go I'll try to get pics.

I went to that thrift store today and the fan was still there, but my camera was out of battery power. I picked it up and it was an Encon, I don't know the model, but it's hideous.
