that's good,i might keep my eyes out on it as well it's also my childhood osclating fan... again,i bought a galaxy oscolating fan (exact same as this one you have) at wal mart way back in early 1980s & had it since mid 90s(dad used it last in the garage & motor burnt up & dad threw it out).

I have the slightly older version of this fan in blue. Mine still has the pointed tip blades but the motor cover and the rear grille is slightly different. Instead of having the handle on the motor cover, it is on the grille. A great fan!

I had the 4 blade version, but it wasnt Galaxy.

we use to have those Galaxy fans but i dont remember where we put them but my uncles still has those fans and they still work but the large covers are not on
