The Sciroccos are cool in their own way, but definitely not 2000s decor. I'm guessing they too are a Key Largo relabel? The 5 blade pretzel bracket fan with Madison vents is a Casa Vieja. You can tell by the pull chain badge. Do you have a clearer pic or scan of the Superfan ad? I'm thinking the dinky white/AB GE vent is a Broan, judging from the brackets, canopy, switch housing, pull chain, etc. The blades look like they have regular points, however. I hate, Hate, HATE Homestead Winds. They belong in the 70s with the matching 6-12 "mod" globe lights that look like spaceships. Is that black fan stack motor, or did they just stick a flywheel on a spinner motor? It looks like a Kmart fan, but has a flywheel. I'm guessing that futuristic black and green fan is North Coast. It has more than a slight resemblance to some of my Concept drawings. Do you know what that Victorian knockoff toward the end is? You have it named "EmersonFanResize", but it looks NOTHING like an Emerson. In any case, I like blades with points you could skewer a good sized rodent with.

Wow that Key Largo is weird. Those TM Lasko 48'' looks funny on that huge porch with that TALL ceiling. The blades will eventually wrap. Do you know when the pic was taken? The large brown spinner with white blades is a Carroway? I have already seen a brown Encon CG wall control in Lakeland, Florida but it did not had the Crompton Greaves writing on it. No one ever posted a picture with the CG logo on it before. Its a FIRST! That 90s Black rounded fan looks like a Casablanca Mercury. But the switch housing is different. Those Wal-Mart Lasko(the green & PB one) use a Made In USA Skeletal motor right? I like the white painted wooden ceiling where the AB Emperor is. But I HATE the long skinny fitter on those.

The 5 blade pretzel bracket fan with Madison vents is a Casa Vieja. You can tell by the pull chain badge. Actually, Encon. Do you have a clearer pic or scan of the Superfan ad? Sorry, no. I'm thinking the dinky white/AB GE vent is a Broan, judging from the brackets, canopy, switch housing, pull chain, etc. The blades look like they have regular points, however. I think so too. However I've also seen that canopy somewhere else. I hate, Hate, HATE Homestead Winds. They belong in the 70s with the matching 6-12 "mod" globe lights that look like spaceships. I like them, but I dont know what decor they fit in. And I DONT like them with lights, except spotlight kits. Is that black fan stack motor, or did they just stick a flywheel on a spinner motor? It looks like a Kmart fan, but has a flywheel. Stack motor. THIS one's Casa Vieja. It's a Casablanca copy. I'm guessing that futuristic black and green fan is North Coast. It has more than a slight resemblance to some of my Concept drawings. You are correct. Do you know what that Victorian knockoff toward the end is? You have it named "EmersonFanResize", but it looks NOTHING like an Emerson. In any case, I like blades with points you could skewer a good sized rodent with. I have no idea. Looks like it has a K63 in it, probably where they got Emerson from.

Those TM Lasko 48'' looks funny on that huge porch with that TALL ceiling. The blades will eventually wrap. Do you know when the pic was taken? Not Laskos And the picture is from Flickr. The large brown spinner with white blades is a Carroway? No. Either a Synlix (motor) or a Broan (canopy). I have already seen a brown Encon CG wall control in Lakeland, Florida but it did not had the Crompton Greaves writing on it. No one ever posted a picture with the CG logo on it before. Its a FIRST! That fan was/is for sale. That 90s Black rounded fan looks like a Casablanca Mercury. But the switch housing is different. Exactly. Those Wal-Mart Lasko(the green & PB one) use a Made In USA Skeletal motor right? Yes sir. I like the white painted wooden ceiling where the AB Emperor is. But I HATE the long skinny fitter on those. I like those fitters.

Oh yeah Dan you right about the TM fans on the huge porch. I did not noticed the chunkier switch housing. So it would be an early Moss WF Series? With those cylinder canopies it looked like one of those Made In Japan 48'' TM Lasko.

Then how come it has the exact same "Casa Vieja" pullchain as the Casa Vieja I installed in my parents' living room straight out of the box? Maybe they took it off an old fan and put it on this one? And when did Encon ever use a stack motor? If it is indeed Encon, it's definitely a forerunner to our 56" Imperial, although I understand it's also an early (and MUCH better built) version of the Monarch.

It's either in ToView or Dan's Collection Gallery. I believe it, as well as Casa Vieja, were both made by Halsey. The photographer of the picture says this particular one is Encon.
