does anybody remember richway? adam, you might. the stores had multi-colored wedge shaped skylights and an orange sun logo. they merged with faderated deparment stores(macys, goldcircle) in 1986 and then folded in 1988. all the stores turned into targets later in 1989.
food lion exists in my area. kroger is gone though. in fact my local habitat is actually an old kroger sav-on. next to it was an old revco drug store that now used for hfh's offices.
i didn't know theres is a food lion around, here in my home town and other cities around my home town has NO MORE food lion, jewel osco, and the city next to my home town is a less than 7 year old kroger store..
i think there is no more winn dixies(ours went out of buisness like around 8 years ago) and other cities around my home town has no more winn dixies as well.
and i THINK safeway grocery stores is still around in usa,but no more here in my home area and dallas/ft worth area, last i heard there is a safeway still around in denver,co

We used to have a Home Quarters (HQ) here, but they all got shut down. They carried the typical selection: Hunter, Encon, and Litex are the brands that I remember in particular. They did not have a corporate brand like Hampton Bay or Harbor Breeze.
