Dan, did you ever find the pics I sent you a few years back of that "mystifying" ceiling fan that I put a post in describing a few days ago...you said you'd check your computer.
Anyhow, I'm down in Delray Beach, FL for a month now and I'm taking lots of pics of fans which I'll donate to every fan website I know.
I went back to visit the old house today. Nobody was there. But I looked through the window and nearly broke down. The 42" Murray Feiss (Toastmaster) in the kitchen had been replaced with the 42" Hunter Low Profile that had been in the dining room. The dining room now has a light hanging from the ceiling. The living room fan (one of the weird gold ones) had been replaced with a white/brass 52" Hampton Bay Saint Claire (I nearly puked in my suit).
I'll go back later this week when the people are there and try to see the rest of the house and report back. BTW, the fans I didn't see from the window, which may or may not still be there, are two more of the weird gold ones, another 42" Murray Feiss, and a 52" Casablanca Four Seasons III (white). We'll just have to see.
Also, the next door neighbor has a kickass Emerson 1895 series, 2 1984 Hunter Originals, and two Hunter Comfort Breezes. I'm knockin' on everyone's door, asking to take pictures of their fans (you should see some of the looks I get)...

Yes, I did, and I will post them soon when I post the rest of the pics I have . . . I'll post here when I get them up.
1. Contact the people in the house . . . when they replaced the weird fan, perhaps they saved it and they'd give it to you. Or if they still have any of the others, perhaps you can work out a deal.
2. See if you can grab one of those Comfort Breees for me
3. Why were you walking door to door in a suit? That's if you want to sell encyclopedias.

I was not walking door to door in a suit..."puke in my/your suit" is one of my favorite expressions.
Could you please send me an email (lord_pierce@yahoo.com) with the pics of my fan?
I'll try to snag a Comfort Breeze.

Could you please send me an email (lord_pierce@yahoo.com) with the pics of my fan? Sent. Also, your pal Adrian Parrado had a theory about that fan.

And Adrian Parrado's theory would be? I'm waiting for Adrian to tell you/us For the record, Adrian is *extremely* knowledgeable about 80s ceiling fans, even though he doesnt really collect them. And he also is quite a nice guy.
