I can agree with you there too adam, this year has been quite sh**y for me as well, though not as bad as what your going through so i shouldnt really complain that much. me and my girlfriend broke up a little over a month ago after 2 and a half years being together and im still really upset over it, havent even spoken to her since either, its like she wants no contact anymore. i lost my job back in april and have been unemployed since, though i have done some side jobs with people i know, but im still broke. only good thing comming up is i will be going back to school to become an auto mechanic next month, i still need to find a steady job though. i wish you luck at school this fall!

Needless to say, I am done with college. This year was really challenging for me since I had to write a 15-page senior thesis in order to graduate, but I was able to get it done.

yeah its such a pain, i hate when these places just jerk you around to and it takes them like 3 weeks to decide if they want to hire you or not, in that case i could just go get hired somewhere else quicker. i just dont want to end up like my last job which i was MISERABLE at thats all.

Mike if we are going to take pictures of those old Flourescent lights at the Publix, we need to do it soon, like in a few days, if it isn't already too late, the one they built next to it already has the letters up and looks done...

I didn't think yearbooks were all that common in elementary school... plus I think we only got one or two field trips a year. Any more than that and it seems like it would take some of the excitement out of the field trip. I don't think some people realize what a hassle it is to organize a field trip... make arrangements with the place you're going, reserve buses, get approval from the principal or whoever is in charge, distribute permission slips and wait for them all to return... plus I'm pretty sure there's insurance stuff you have to fill out in order for a large number of kids to go off campus. So you have to look at it from both perspectives. One to two field trips a year is not "unfair", nor is it unreasonable.

But still it's fun once in a while just to get out of the classroom and learn things on a field trip and sitting in the classroom most of the time gets kind of dull. And the school I went to was Dunham Elemantry School and that was the only school who didn't get year books that year and hardly went on field trips, too. It was fun, but we didn't get to do a lot of stuff.

Also, the teachers went on strike right as I entered the first grade. Our normal vacation time was shortened to make up for the missed time as a result of the teachers' strike.

That's really terrible to hear. We also had a teacher's strike but we didn't have to make up lost time though but it almost jepodized my last year.
