My land lord is updating all the electrical in my house so out goes the old fixtures, in goes the new. That includes the fans. First is a Sears Lasko. $20.00 Three speed, works fine, canopy original? Buyer pays Shipping

I'd like it. The canopy is not original.
Which email address of yours is current?

Apparently, the fans that replaced the old ones were Hunter Summer Breeze's (New ones). Finally that cheapass puts something up thats worthwhile.

I might not be able to take care of this before I leave town, so Andrew, if you're out there, go ahead and jump on it. If not, I'll still get it when I get back (or before I leave if Matthew & I can get it together).

Why don't you get Matthew's lasko (he's closer to you anyways), and I will get Raymond's lasko (he's a hell of alot closer to me than you). I still want this type.

I still want this type. That's not a bad idea, let's see if it works. I certainly dont need two more of this fan (though I wouldnt turn them down) but I do need one other, preferably with the proper canopy.

That is a nice Lasko...They are very rare in my area, and I posted on another thread about the one I actually did see in person...I never knew Sears sold those fans.

I believe these predate the TOCs and the more familiar Sears Lasko, what year exactly they were sold I'm not sure. I was also very surprised to find they had been sold at Sears.

that fan looks almost identical to the one in my shop. mine isnt mounted on a ball socket though...its similar to a hunter original as it uses a rubber grommit. it also has a plastic canopy over the capacitor?

Try to get a pic, I would love to see it. The Lasko that Trevor mentioned is the 'plain' lasko. It's similar to the ornate version but with more plain vents.
