Hey dudes! haha okay okay pardon the surfer intro. I havent been on in a long time and decided to check around. Since my first year in highschool started I ve been pretty busy, which means more time on homework, and "other things" but on the other hand, less time in fan shop Since we last left off in my great adventure, I had a banana fan that has a broken branch, and a hot headed 36 inch original. I ll translate.....The banana fan is in fine shape with the exception of a broken brass bracket and the 36'' has been running quite hot. is this normal? I know the 36"ers werent noted for their ventilation in the motor but mines gettin VERY warm. the oils fine. Problem 2. anyone got either a brown or bright brass 3 speed original motor. dudnt gotta be reversible but its nice. Thanks! any help is appreciated Trevor

How warm is it getting? All motors do get warm or even hot to the touch, however Originals have enough iron to dissapate heat that they usually dont get so hot as to burn your hand badly (unlike, for example, K63 motors)
