I seek a rare ceiling fan from the 1980's. It is a 4-blade, 52" fan made by Panasonic. Model number is F5210WH. The "WH" denotes the blade color, not the motor color (or so I am told). It came only in bright brass and antique brass (as far as I know...maybe there was a white version). I do not know if there were other sizes.
I seek only the bright brass, 52" version. The blades are an off-white, grey-cream color. This fan was made in 1984. It is 3-speed, and non-reversible. There are no vent holes (on the bottom, at least). This fan has a high blade pitch, so it moves a LOT of air. The blade tips look like this: }
This fan has five very distinctive features:
1. The pull chain. The pull chain is ENTIRELY cloth, like some of the old Laskos. Even where it comes out of the motor housing, it is cloth. It uses Panasonic's proprietary connector, and it has their proprietary orange tassel at the bottom. The pull chain makes a distincive click when pulled. The finial isn't metal...it's a small piece of white plastic.
2. The speed. On high, it goes at about 60 RPM...that's what most 52" fans so on low. On low, this thing CRAWLS. It's not broken...it's meant to be that way. The high blade pitch makes up for it. But so, in other words, this is a V-E-R-Y slow fan.
3. The canopy. This was a j-hook fan, and it had a weird canopy. It's tapered and stepped...like an upside-down Hunter Original switch housing.
4. The blade brackets. The blade brackets, on the blade end, are VERY unique. I can't really describe the shape, you'll have to look at any of my three pictures to see it.
5. The motor bottom. This is not a spinner fan. I do not know what type of motor it had in it (it may have been a spinner MOTOR), but the fan itself isn't a spinner. The blade brackets mount around the outside of the bottom of the motor housing...like an antique Diehl ceiling fan. Hard to describe. See pics.
I have three pictures:

Please, if you have any information...post it here! I used to own three of this fan (hence the pics). I was dumb enough to let the fans go with the house when we had to sell it. But I remember these fans very well, so I can answer any questions you may have.
