Am looking for various fans from the 70s and 80s, including Hunter Comfort Breeze, various Nutones and Fascos, Homesteads, many spinner fans with, as Adam says, the capacitor on top of the motor, and of course the fan I posted the sketch of on the other forum.
I have MAny Many fans for sale or trade, including Emersons, Casablancas, Evergos, Mosses, SMCs, Laskos . . .
email me mtneuman@mailbag.com

Are you looking for any of the SMC laguna fans, because I have two brown 36'' versions. I got them from a garage sale and they run pretty good. They are slightly newer models, however.

That's Adam who likes those, although I am fond of any spinner fan with a a lower canopy (capacitor on top of the motor). But I take it these arent, nor are they variable speed.

Yes I like the ones with the cap on top of the motor, and switch housing. I like most, if not, all ceiling fans with the cap on top of the motor, including the switch housing.....Adam

I also have a slightly later TAT deluxe, a brown Emerson Blender, and one of those flower fans. (The TAT deluxe was the model that came right after the one in Adam's gallery.)

All stuff I'd love to see pictures of, although nothing you've got me jumping up and screaming to have. Sometime soon I'll sort through all my fans, and get an active list going for sale or trade. Hey, I did the catalogs, that's a start!

I have a Nutone Scoville White/Brass 52" 4 blader. I got 4 of them from a store closing down. Runs quite well. I did repaint blades white again, since the person who took it down for me made no efforts to avoid deep scratches. Everything else original, all hardware included. My mom said the store opended in 1985, so thats likely when the fans went up. Interested? E-mail me at SL2guy1@aol.com.....I would love to unload it, I hate having it not get put to good use. I sold the other three.

Brown and brass or antique brass for preference. 2. One of the very first Nutone Verandas, it's a spinner fan with a stationary brass bottom plate, fake cane blades, two speeds (I think) and usually has a built in schoolhouse light.

Does anyone want any Dayton fans? Today I found one of those Dayton industrial fans. This fan is unique. It has four blades, it has a pullchain, and the speeds go from low, medium, high like Casablanca fans. this fan was made in two sizes that I know of, 56'' and 40''. I have the 56'' version. These fans were very common and are still seen today.

I might be intrested. Do you have a picture, Or anymore info on it? I'm guessing it has a switch housing because you mentioned a pull chain. Also does it have the lower canopy? Let me know....Adam

Adam I'll send you a picture so you can see if you're interested . . . but if you dont want it I do. The fan was made by Lasko.

My fan says Dayton right on it. So does mine. Lasko made them for Dayton. None of the Dayton industrial fans of recent years were actually made by them, they were all made by other companies and relabled.
