Yes. The faceplate looks like copper. To me, looks pink, like the canopy.

Yes the canopy is pink but bottom plate looks like a darker pink or copper. Nice AD of Supreme. Are these also from Adam? The Mark IV in the second link looks a little bit like this one: www.vintageceilingfans.com/classicconceptsceilingfand-300_52ins-120v-60hz-10amp.htmlWhat kind of motor do they use? I am a little confused about Commander Electric Co because there also another similar brand called Caribbean Electric Co witch also make the abbreviation of CEC. Maybe when I said that I toughed that are cheap I probably mean about Caribbean Electric Co. You even called some of them 'Cheapo' like this little spinner that appears to BE cheap: www.vintageceilingfans.com/cecgeorgianceilingfan3o3d.htmlAnd Commander is supposed to be from Taiwan and this little spinner is From AND Made In Hong Kong. Please explain me.

I really like the Supreme fans; you can tell that someone at Supreme was doing some research in the ceiling fan market. To my eye, some of them, with the exception of the spinners and the Emporer, look like Casablanca and Hunter copies. The canopies even look similar. I see the following fans among both links:
-Hunter Original -Casablanca 20th Century -Casablanca Victorian -Casablanca Zephyr
Even the light kits look like the way Casablanca used to make them, in my opinion. Does anyone else agree?

They use big heavy green spinners, although it appears that some might be K55 or K55 copy. The fan you refer to actually looks like this: ada19851985.proboards25.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=id&thread=1123115664&page=1I am a little confused about Commander Electric Co because there also another similar brand called Caribbean Electric Co witch also make the abbreviation of CEC. Please explain me. Commander Electrical Co = CEC. Carribean Electric Co = CEC. Are they the same company, or were they at some point? We're not sure. There were some similarities and crossovers between models. Carribeans were Hong Kong at the beginning, but were later made in Taiwan like most 80s fans. They made decent quality fans well into the 90s, but as with all imported companies from the mid-80s on, their lowest-cost models were comparatively poor quality. The Georgian isnt a HORRIBLE fan, but it cost $15 at Kmart. You tell me.

Does anyone else agree? I definitely agree, except that you're mixing up the 20th Century with the Columbia. They also had variations on these designs, like the Elephant Ass fan. It's true with the Commanders too. Besides the blatant Original copies, they have Zephyr copies, Grape Leaf copies, and Homestead copies.

Nice Supremes...does anyone have a pic of their 5-blade Emperor? If anyone does it's JW. I've never seen one myself, unless JW posted a pic and I forgot about it. Does anyone think the Emperor design was originally a Broadway Limited copy? Think about some of the earliest Emperors and how ornate they were.

The 'original' catalog has to be one of the most blatant examples of copying I have ever seen. Hell, almost ALL of the pictures in it are of real, genuine hunter originals. This leads me to believe that they either directly copied hunter (similar to how the Southern Fan Co. copied the Casablanca zephyr (Tara fan) or Classic Fans relabled them for Commander. Looking closely at the pictures, most of them are NOT of actual Originals. Look at the canopy, most of them have the Commander canopy, once piece with a stamped collar. Some of them do have a two-piece canopy. However this includes models that are clearly not Hunter, like the chrome one.

Wow, did anyone notice the chrome "Originals" on pages 14 and 15? They have plexiglass blades, like the banana fans did!
VERY cool catalogues. Thanks for sharing!
