I picked this fan up several months ago and is my first time seeing it. The blades are painted white. it came out of a house five blocks away from my house. Neat fan.   |

oh my god we had one of those fans in our house when i was a kid i have been looking for one for a long time let me know if you want to sell it

I believe it is Classic Concepts. I have a Classic Concepts spinner that is exactly the same except it has vent holes.
It's very similar to an Evergo.

Very nice fan its rare that we see theses fan with all brass body with white blades. I like it. The brackets are similar to a Moss Caribbean Breeze with four wood blades. I have already seen a fan like that before with the same shape of blades, cane and brackets, it was antique brass and 36''.
Again the motor is the same as a Banvil/Enviro/Evergo.
Do you have the wall control of it?

i tried to find a wall control for it but no luck. i have two other fans in all brass too. i know one of then is called "the ox".

This fan is very early 80s.

OX'' is one of the relabels of the Base Concept Hong Kong ceiling fans company. They make mostly Industrial ceiling fans. Most of Base Concept fans are labels as Majestic. There was one that cammed on USA EBay that was 120 Volts and label as ''OX''. I have already posted the link to it in the other thread: www.baseconcept.com.hkAt the right corner of the main page you should see a ''OX'' logo and a ''Majestic'' logo Base Concept is since 1956, your fan is from the late 70s early 80s. |

hey dan, do you have a picture of that spinner with the vents? i would love to see it. the last time i seen one i wanted was on ebay. it was called the showboat. brand new in the box.

hey dan, do you have a picture of that spinner with the vents? i would love to see it. the last time i seen one i wanted was on ebay. it was called the showboat. brand new in the box. that spinner fan new in box on ebay you said rings a bell in my head means i seen it on ebay,i think it's tatung(if i'm wrong,i don't remember,i haven't seen it on ebay in a while.... it's the one with odd color finish,spinner motor(yes with vent holes) and no light kit/switch adapter thingy on bottom of the fan,i think that fan was cool,but the color on it is ugly,the arms on that fan on ebay is different than yours(pictured).. |
