I'm not debating that the 3-metal-blade brown thing is a Patton. I think it is.
I'm debating that the original fan in this thread, the antique brass one from CL with four reverse-pitched wood blades, isn't a Patton.

That really IS an ugly fan, have no idea what it is but I kind of agree with Patton fans...

I think the fan somehow resembles an airplane or airplane propeller -- the shape of the blades is really odd. It looks to have a really high pitch too. Too bad we don't have anyone in NYC.
