The Wal-Mart Laskos are some of my favorite Laskos. I like them so much just because of the fact that what Wal-Mart stocks in their fan section today comes straight from China and/or Taiwan. It's such a stark contrast from the kind of fan that a Lasko is, in my opinion. I'm not saying that outsourcing to Asia is good or bad, but I really enjoy American made products, such as old Hunter Originals and Ford cars that I don't have to repair daily, lol.
I do like foreign vehicles, though. Even some of those are made in the US now; Toyota is a good example. My dad just bought a new Tacoma, and it was made in the US. Go Japan with US factories!

There are Ford cars you dont have to Fix Or Repair Daily? Found On Roadside Daily?
I agree, amazing to thing 10 years ago you could buy an American made ceiling fan in the cheapest discount store.

I actually haven't had any major problems with my Ford other than what was caused by some body damage several years ago. If you take care of a car (regular fluid changes, etc), it will usually last.
It's just that Fords seem to die first when they don't have an oil change for several years.
I wish Lasko still made ceiling fans.
