Are these blades Original? I'm thinking no . . .

Not only no, but they could be off a Tara... same kind of arch... if you yourself ever acquire this fan (if it's not yours already), look to see if there is an "imprint" of another bracket on it (from where the area under the bracket was not exposed to the elements.)
That blade is way too big for that little bracket anyway. I've seen the base of the blade be bigger than the bracket, but it is not common.
The only normal-mounting 70s-80s fans I distinctly remember seeing arch-end blades on (Silkon may or may not count) have been Taras, that one chrome Zephyr in the galleries, and these Moss or Ritzes (could have been Hallmark as well, too long ago.)
Keep your eyes peeled for any normal-mounting fan with arch-end brackets. The ones I remember seeing were 42" (never seen a 52" with arch end although I have with pointed), had oval vents (think GE with no top slot), and moon brackets with the two bars curving INWARD. The brackets on the fan labeled "5blade42" in the Unknown gallery on Yahoo are the exact ones. I've seen these fans both in 4 blade and 5 blade. I'd love to find one, and a 52" would be awesome.

The only reason I considered them going with the fan, is it wasnt the first time I'd seen an arch-end blade on a small bracket much like that: Not the same, but similar enough to stir recollection.

Not my fan. I might ask to buy the blades. The only normal-mounting 70s-80s fans I distinctly remember seeing arch-end blades on (Silkon may or may not count) have been Taras, that one chrome Zephyr in the galleries, and these Moss or Ritzes (could have been Hallmark as well, too long ago.) I dont know what Moss/Ritzes you're referring to, is there a picture? I am wondering if those white arch-end blades on that chrome Zephyr were actually Tara blades. Classic Fans made Original copies with arch-end blades. The only time I've seen what I knew for sure to be Tara blades on a fan of another type, was this 42" Hunter Low Profile on eBay that had huge 52" Tara blades stuck on it. It looked silly. I emailed the high bidder and told them the blades werent correct, and the fan likely wouldnt work right. Keep your eyes peeled for any normal-mounting fan with arch-end brackets. Are you saying, because the blades wouldnt be original, or because you're specifically looking for blades where they would be? The ones I remember seeing were 42" (never seen a 52" with arch end although I have with pointed), had oval vents (think GE with no top slot), and moon brackets with the two bars curving INWARD. The brackets on the fan labeled "5blade42" in the Unknown gallery on Yahoo are the exact ones. I've seen these fans both in 4 blade and 5 blade. I'd love to find one, and a 52" would be awesome. I've never seen a fan with 5 arch-end blades, however there was a set of 5 arch end blades for sale on eBay recently.

No, there's not a picture... it was so long ago, the characteristics of some of the Moss-Ritzes I've seen posted kind of match them. Closest thing I could match them up to. I personally recall seeing these 42" fans with 5 arch-end blades... they were in my neighbor's house across the street when I was a kid.
So let this stand as my "I Seek This Fan" post. As a recap: *42", possibly 52" *GE vents WITHOUT the top "line" section (like the Hallmark from Ebay, or the "large" 5 cane blade fan in unknown gallery) *Moon brackets with inward curving bars (see "5blade42" in unknown gallery at Yahoo VCF) *Pointed OR arch-end blades... the arch end blades are obviously what I'm looking for. They are most likely stenciled
I've also seen a 52" fan, most likely this version, which had pointed blades, but the stencil was designed for arch-end blades. I only saw this once however, at a Mexican restaurant in Tyler, Texas.

I would call those "oval vents". Adam's new American Industries has these too.
