it seems i have such an unknown fan. Not really. Just no one really cares. What do you want to know about it? Hicks probably knows more about it than I do, but it's pictured in my 1993 Fasco catalog.

It's not a gallery, it's a catalog I have at my house. Fasco had plenty of other models, both imported and domestic.

ohh lol im dumb, yea i noticed alot of the vents on the spartan look like alot of other fans, some of which are also in adam's gallery, like the chadwick miller and codep, they remotely look like the spartan (with a few variations of course) thats what i like about this fan.

Those are what we call GE vents. They are all copying the Casablanca Zephyr, which is a replica of a plain GE ceiling fan from the 1920s.

Lots of info on vents, blade brackets, etc in the forums if you look back a little bit. Ignore any posts by Smily, Pierce Phillips, and JRB.

Yep, those are GE vents. Also of interest, Spartan was a model of portable fans made by Fasco years ago! I guess they brought the name back. I like your Spartan, though.

This is when I miss Jim Lindsey. I dont remember the history of Fasco's Spartan label, but, he knew and had plenty of stories.
For those who dont know, Jim Lindsey was the AFCA's Fasco historian who died a few years ago. Jim was very friendly and generous with his time, knowledge, and many Fasco fans.
