The fans are very plain, but it looks like some effort was put into decorating the lighting. Air movement must have the first priority in the fans, above looks.

Putting residential fans on that ceiling wouldnt do much.

Well, it depends on the fan. At least they would be more aesthetically pleasing for the given decor.

I dont think *any* residential fan is going to do notable air movement on a ceiling that high, in a room that big. Industrial fans are designed to move air differently, and for a reason. There's some good information on the Envirofan website. In fact, some of their fans are designed to be mounted with the included downrod regardless of the ceiling height.
