I found this plastic ceiling fan motor that is brown with a brass-like faceplate. It has the same type of vent pattern as found on a Hunter Coastal Breeze (the one I own). I believe the motor is friction drive. It has no mounting hardware whatsoever. Any ideas?

BTW, the fan had no blades/brackets either... Today, I went to the local flea market and picked up a box with a lot of fan components, and found a plastic bell canopy the exact finish of this fan (brown). Also, I found 4 plastic (brass finish) C-shaped brackets that look like they went to this fan I acquired last summer. I feel good that I found what may be the rest of this fan which will be a good project.

I would never pay that much for a spinner that didn't have a lower canopy.

I believe the motor is friction drive. It has no mounting hardware whatsoever. Any ideas? The bottom plate is brass, and comes up around the sides, much like the bottom plates on the /brass plastic Lasko spinners? I've seen one of these many years ago, in a Hardees. It was variable speed and I believe it was a Toastmaster. I'd love to see pictures.
