Its not a Costal Breeze. It was installed in my new house. It looks like a small Summer breeze.

I believe, and I know I was confused and corrected about this on the other forum, the older four blade "summer breeze" were actually called the "studio series". I know the filagree ones were but this may have been too. They did make a 5 blade 42" studio series that looked identical to this one, save the obvious difference.

the 80's summer breezes were 4 blades with a 48" diameter and came in white, bright brass, or antique brass.

true, the 80's ones did have filigree sidebands, were 4 blade and came in 52", 48", and 42" sizes. But, however this cannot be a studio series because Studio Series and Summer Breeze were two completly different fans. This info is all thanks to the owners manual to my low profile original. it shows the four fans hunter offered in the 80's. studio, original, summer breeze, and low profile 1. and low profile original

The question remains: Was the Studio Series ever offered without filagree, and 42" Was the the Summer Breeze ever offered with four blades, and 42" If the answer to both are yes then we're talking about the exact same fan. I'm thinking #2 only.

The Summer breeze was definitely offered as a 4-blade in the 80s, and I think they made a 42 -inch version at some point.

I think it has to be a Summer Breeze. Because I seen one of those before but it was 52-inch though. That has to be it.

It's hanging in my garage, but I guess I can let it go.

I like those 'miniature' Summer Breezes...they are hard to find and rare. The last place I can recall seeing one was at an Arby's somewhere.
