Does anyone know what this is. it has nothing but a faded out sticker on it. I found this in a trash pile today. Rusted, and was frozed up. it was re wired with regular wire (Lamp cord). Looks like something from the 60's or 70's. I've never seen blade brakets like this. and the wood blades which are pretty much warped from water, can be fixed though.

Homemade?

I don't think it's homemade. It does have a factory sticker on it, but is completely faded. The wires that connect the light kit are colored, like any other fan. Also when I tipped the fan upside down, a bunch of rust water came dripping out, but it works....

I'm thinking that the blade brackets and possibly the blades are homemade or modified, the motor and whatnot are clearly manufactured.
I'll add, the blades look like Lasko (spinner) blades with an extra hole drilled.

do you want to pay for shipping. I hate shipping. Finding packing materials is something I never have time for.

Now Dan, you obviously don't get it do you? The slimline was a free fan, and Raymond lives relatively close to me. In these other cases, in which a fan is for SALE and shipping is involved, I would be glad to pay for a fan and it's shipping cost.
