I posted, in the files section of the Yahoo Groups, pictures of two fans recently found at Habitat. One is an odd imported Victorian (Fern Leaf) copy, the other is a GE vent import fan with an odd motor and an odd sideband. I have no idea who made either of these fans and I'd like to know. Any ideas? Check them out: groups.yahoo.com/group/vintageceilings/

If you can't find the brand name on the outside, take the fan apart and look inside.

If you can't find the brand name on the outside, take the fan apart and look inside. Andrew, if you'd paid attention, you'd realize the white fan is at Habitat for sale and cannot be taken apart. The other one I have inspected pretty thoroughly, there are no markings on the blades, inside the switch housing, canopy, or anywhere on the motor or motor housing that I can see, except for a tag that reads "model 1760T".
