Hey What does everyone think about this type pf ceiling fan brand? I personally like the Builder's Award with the Light kit already with the fan, Contemporary Flush-Mount Celing Fan, and the Cxl. They do offer some of the nicest fans and light kits they offered. Do anyone have a fan light this? What's your Opinion? ;D

Their light kit selection is pretty neat but their fans are just as crappy as hampton bay's are. Their best fans move no more than 8500 CFM, the rest of their fans move between 4500 and 7000 CFM. The only thing I like about craftmade fans is that most of them are four or five blade.

Okay that's cool. Because if I ever get a ceiling fan from anyone for free even my uncle might give me one. I'm going to try that. To find a Craftmade light kit and add it on to see what the fan looks like.

Hey, I like Craftmade fans. My dad has 2 at his house, by the way. Plus my uncle who lives in Canton, OH has 2 in his house (they came with the house). Some of them look like Casablancas in one way or another (I.E. the Presidential II series). There was a showroom that used to be in Pittsburgh that sold Craftmades, and I knew the owner pretty well. Unfortunately, that showroom (Fixture Concepts) is no longer around. Although, they are not as good as Emersons, I personally like Craftmade better than the Casablancas these days.

Craftmades are basic import fans. Some, like the CXL, have more powerful motors than others. There's nothing special about them. They do have some interesting light kits.
I dont think they're as good quality as Casablanca, even with Casa's deteriorating quality.

Oh really? Hey at least Craftmade is still making traditonal fans with the ge vent look-alikes. While Casalablance is just getting worse and worse. I really like Craftmade better. I still think Casalablanca is good but they just need to improve with the offerings of their fans. I only liked the Delta and Veranda fans. I really wished that they kept those fans in the lineup. This only in my opinon. ;D ;D

I was just wondering that Craftmade ever made a ceiling fan with Ge Vents? I could'nt find a model that had Ge vents on it. Does anyone know the full history of Craftmade Ceiling fans?

I havent but I thought you mentioned you liked them better than Casa because of a GE vent fan? Most Craftmades I've seen have typical 'builder vents'. AS for their history, I'm not aware of much of one, they've been around since the mid-80s but I've only seen their fans as of the 90s, which is basically the same lineup they have today.

I do. But I also liked the bulider vent on ceiling fans as well. I'm pretty glad that Craftmade haven't changed their line up and adding more stupid looking fans, either. And I do like some fans from Casa like the Four Season, the Ventura. and those are the fans that still have the Ge vents. ;D

GE vents are very cool but I like fans that have variations on them like the Tara, Nutones, Fascos, etc . . .

Oh I see. What variations are talking about? Because I still enjoy the Delta, The Nutone Dcreator, Boarn's Eupropa styles and many others. I have a soft spot for all of those.

My uncle has an old fan with GE vents...I believe it's a Cimarron. He doesn't use it that much, and when he revs it up, it wobbles. By the way, those Broans are hard to come by.
