I'd love to see the picture of the other fan, to compare. It must have been one of the first Panasonic fans made. But Panasonic didnt make thier own fans, I believe the later (mid80s?) fans were made by Moss, or the same company that makes Moss. Wonder who made this one? I'd certainly like to find one, it is a very cool fan.

A friend has a 52" Emerson copy Panasonic in his house. Its basically a 52" 1985 Series with a Panasonic label on the switch housing.

Oh I think I've seen that fan in the gallery. Why did Panasonic stopped making celing fans?

Why did Panasonic stopped making celing fans? they didn't. They still make ceiling fans, but only overseas.
