Wow I’ve been inactive here for years…
Just bought my own place in December and I’ve been working on swapping the fans out for vintage quality ones, though I’m in need of a few parts first. I can’t find them anywhere so I decided to dust off my old account in hopes something turns up.
I’m looking to buy two K4S light kits- one in architectural white and one in Snow White. I know K4S’s are near impossible to find these days but I’m gonna give it a shot before I end up having to resort to generic light kits.
Also looking for a polished brass clear beveled glass center globe for the Delta I (which is back from the dead after all these years)
I’ll make a thread with pictures of all the fans once everything is complete. Can’t wait to show you guys!

Welcome back! If eBay doesn’t have what you need my next suggestion is to reach out to some showrooms who keep old stock. FanMan lighting is a great place and would ship if you paid. They have done it before so they may be worth reaching out to. That glass shade should be easier as long as you don’t care whether its genuine or not. Those things I seem to see all the time. Excited to see the photos!

I was more hoping someone here had any they were willing to part with. There’s a Casablanca New Orleans II with a K4S for sale local to me for $150. Given how rare K4S’s are I’m wondering if it’s worth buying just for the light kit and painting the light kit white…

That may be tough, the New Orleans ii may be the best way because this forum can be fairly inactive. There is only a few currently active people who may have one.

Well nobody has a K4S for sale anywhere. So I’m buying the New Orleans II, taking the light kit off, then selling the rest of the fan and painting the light kit white.
For the other do I have no choice but to settle for a crappy generic 4 light turtle fitter?
(Also how much would a New Orleans II with a missing switch cap be worth?)

You may have to, go with a basic one. As for value, it depends on the finish, what finish is this one? Ornate switch caps like that would probably be around 70$, more if it is not antique brass. If it is not an antique brass fan it would be harder to complete but worth more. People could also throw their own lights on it if they had them. I am not the best with pricing, but I wouldn't take less than 100$, maybe 150$ for it.

Bumping again. Still need a K4S. Willing to pay up to $250 for an architectural white one, $200 for a snow white one, or $150 for any other finish.
