I have it currently and it truly is messing me up mentally.
Tested positive one week ago. Don’t get me wrong I’m grateful no hospitalizations or anything like that but I had a fever, chills, congestion, lost taste at first. Then it moved into being winded this gerd acid in my throat. Keep waking out of a sound sleep with stomach issues, I can’t sleep I’m having panic attacks. It’s Horid. I can’t wait to be over this and get some sleep.

I was mostly tired for the first few days, I'd try to do something and have to sit down in about 15 minutes. Then it was runny nose and congestion for a few more days but after the first few days mostly just a light cough was all I had left. I think I did get some stomach issues with the diarreal but I don't remember any heartburn. My dad got it right as I did and I think he did mention having more heartburn especially at night. And his symptoms seemed to last longer. I don't remember much of it as I mostly stayed in my room for a few days working so it was whatever he told me after it was over. We thought it was a head cold until people at work started having positive tests.
I did lose my sense of smell and taste after a few days. It constantly smelled like I had my face in a sheet of cardboard pressed into my nose. It took a few weeks for my sense of smell to come back at all.
Probably I would second the vitamin D and take some immune boosters. When I got it I went and got tested and there was a doctor working at the test site that gave me two prescriptions as he said he could hear I was congested. I don't remember what they were though. Probably an antibiotic and something with zinc I would assume.

So you were fine within a week or so? They put me on prednisone that stuff is horrible. Now that I think of it I believe prednisone was one of the medications. I remember they used to put my grandpa on that a lot years ago but I don't remember why. I was over it in a week other than the smell and taste loss. The worst of it for me lasted 2-3 days and then another day with sore throat and congestion. After that it was just the occasional cough and tiredness but I had no problem working full days at home. I seemed to sleep really well for some reason.

I had it about a month ago. I am one of the lucky ones; I thought it was just a hangover. That was the second time. The first time I thought it was just the flu. It lasted two days then I was back 100%.
I suppose it's also worth noting that A) I am not vaccinated, and B) I didn't take prescription medication of any sort either time, just Walmart's copy of DayQuil and NyQuil.
My coworker nearly died a year ago from it. My wife and I visited him while he was home sick and she bought him an oximeter. Had he not had that and been able to see his O2 level plummet, he'd have surely passed. When it dipped below 80% he sped over to the hospital and got checked in. He's one of my closest friends, so it's scary to think of losing him.

Fiancée caught it in May, basically knocked her right out for 2-3 days. It took about 2 months to get her lung capacity back up to spec, She is fine now. I somehow did not catch it despite sleeping beside her the whole time she had it anticipating that I would eventually catch it from her.

Just found out today my grandmother has it. She said she'd felt sick a few days and tested positive today on two tests. I talked to her on the phone and she sounded raspy, but she said her fever wasn't very high, just hot at times, and she felt tired but fine otherwise.
