Hi, does anyone know the name of this fan? It is my mother's and she has had it quite a while. The chain pull for the light and the fan are completely pulled out and an electrician just said she needed to replace it because they didn't make parts for older fans like hers anymore. I would love to know the model ID/info that would help us to better find parts for it. I hate the idea of throwing it out, it is beautiful and means a lot to her. She thinks it is made my Harbor Breeze and I believe she got in sometime maybe late 90's. Any info would be so helpful and appreciated. Apologies, these are all the pictures I have gotten but hoping to get more that may be more detailed. Thank you, Beverly Sapp

Hi Beverly,
Your mother's fan looks to be from the late 1990s or early 2000s. It would be easier for us to identify if you could possibly take a picture showing the fan from the side. It very well could be a Harbor Breeze fan. Both Home Depot and Lowe's sell replacement pull chain switches, so it's possible you could get them installed by your electrician. Harbor Breeze didn't actually make the fan, as a manufacturer in either China or Taiwan made it and labeled it under the brand of the store it was originally sold at (which would be Lowe's if it is a Harbor Breeze). Hopefully this helps you get a bit of insight on where you may be able to get the parts you need to fix your mother's fan.

Here are a few that I was able to get today- please excuse the dust on the fan, it has been a couple years since this light has worked so it has been a pretty dark room since the chain came out of it. I am not sure how just yet to add more than 3 attachments but I have a few pictures that might be more helpful if it will let me.

I would definitely say this is a Harbor Breeze, but it could also be an Encon brand as well (I recall both manufacturers making similar-looking fans to yours). The parts should still be available, and are generic. I was just at my local Home Depot on Sunday, and they indeed still sell replacement pull chains. I'd take the pull chain inside the light kit with you when you go to buy a replacement pull chain, as it will help you match up to the ones they have in the store. Your electrician will know how to wire the pull chain. Hope this helps you a bit. -Vincent

Oh, I seen the harbor breeze Bradford on a ceilinf fan slideshow and it looked very identical to the fan bev showed, I guess I’ll have to look up older harbor breezes and I’ll try to find the correct answer! update, I searched an account on Instagram that shows harbor breeze fans and the closest match I found is Of course… the Bradford. I’ll have to do further research when I get home, but I still think it’s a Harbor Breeze Bradford

I was able to go to Home Depot today and they were much more helpful regarding what we needed than at other places we had been. It was much easier than I anticipated it to be to get the parts, thanks for the suggestion, it really did help. Our electrician is coming this Thursday so fingers crossed everything goes smoothly and she has her light working again (and gets to keep her fan:). Apologies if I am not replying to the post correctly, I am still figuring out the site. -Beverly

That fan is a harbor breeze Bradford, they are very uncommon and nice fans! Thank you for the name of the fan, anything even close is helpful. My mom was pretty sure it was a Harbor Breeze fan but we weren't completely sure since it was so long ago. I looked up Harbor Breeze Bradford but wasn't successful finding it. I'm sure with it being an older fan it makes it harder to find online though. I appreciate the info. At this point I have looked at so many fans, videos of fans, etc. online and tried so hard to find another one like it that it's just going to bug me until I find the name of it or another one like it:) Thankfully, I think we have the parts we will need now even if not. Thanks again for your reply, I appreciate it! -Beverly

It'a likely a Harbor Breeze, but that's NOT the model name.

No problem glad I was able to give the brand and model to the fan -Devin It's actually NOT a Bradford. It'a likely a Harbor Breeze, but that's NOT the model name. How is it not a Bradford, here’s proof that it’s a bradford do you see any differences between the fan bev sent and the photo of a catalog showing the same exact fan proving that it’s a harbor breeze Bradford. and I don’t want this thread to become toxic either
