Does anyone remember this model? It was a Home Depot exclusive if I remember right. It came out around 2008 and I think it replaced the Archive Original they sold. It was a bronze color, and similar to the 1886, but it had a resin housing that spun with the blades and only two blades.
Whatever happened to this model? I can't find much info on it. Was it any good?

In my area it was only special order I don’t know if they ever stocked them.

There's a high quality photo of the Teurk if you type "23944" on the Hunter website.

Was it any good? Yes I remember this model from the 2008 Catalog under the special order category. I haven't personally owned one but from feedback of collectors who have had them in their possession they say that its super underpowered. I would personally like one as a novelty fan, but otherwise the plastic/resin housing and mediocre build quality didn't make it too great.

Yes... they were manufactured from about 2006-2008 to celebrate Hunter's 120th Anniversary. They were neat, and I'd like to find one someday. They also came with a 4-speed wall control. They were slightly lower quality than the 1886 Series 60" Limited Edition (which was also released in 2006, but is still manufactured today), as the Turek didn't use the Originals' mounting system like the 1886 does.

I haven't seen many if any around - I know a collector had one for sale on eBay a few years ago. Maybe it wasn't Home Depot's exclusive to replace the Archive Original, but it seems like they did show up around the time it was discontinued - late 07 early 08. Man, if I had been the age I am now, I would have gotten at least a few of those Originals - $99 they were selling for back then on clearance!

My local Home Depot last had Originals in the very early 2000s. Lowe's, however, had them in store from 2012 until about 2014. They were all in the black finish. They had their display model on clearance for $99, but I passed it up.
