You may had seen me mentioning ceiling fans in that museum multiple times. Well, the museum is now closed for renovation and expansion and I now have all three ceiling fans that used to be there. It's not April Fools' joke, I really got those fans. 2 Emerson Heat Fan from the great hall and one Casablanca S3 in a hallway near the discovery room.
The 2 Emerson Heat Fan are the first Emerson Heat Fan I ever saw in person, and I'm happy to finally have them. They have K55 motor and fiberglass blades. I even got Emerson solid state speed controls which were used for those fans. One was spinning a bit too fast on minimum speed but was okay for 2 story ceiling they were in, and other one was stalling, so I had to use trim pot for both. Trim pot can only be adjusted when it's not mounted on a wall, like you would have to unscrew the switch from a wall to adjust the trim pot.
As some of you know, the old capacitor on Casablanca S3 was bad so I had to replace it with a new one. The new capacitor could not fit in the receiver so I had to stick the wires through one of holes on the receiver and have the capacitor outside of the receiver. But the upper motor housing could still fit so it's fine.
Here are my videos of formally south Heat Fan, formally north Heat Fan, and Casablanca S3:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vf3B67km15oDecided to just replace the bearings on 2nd Heat Fan since it was noisy and noise appeared to have to do with something inside the bearings. Bearing noise are gone!
