Get tried of that squeak! My plan was to replace the bearings. So I took it apart. I am down to the motor housing. Took the 8 screws out from the top and bottom halves but then nothing. It will not come apart any further. Does it come apart? Can you replace the bearings? Help! Thanks in advance

I have a 25444, so I assume similar or same. This is how I disassembled/reassembled my motor after replacing the bearings. Replace the 4 screws on the side without the 3 screws around the bearing. Remove the 3 screws from around the bearing. You will hear a bearing retainer plate fall away from the cover. Insert a flat screwdriver in the gap where the covers nearly meet, and twist to try and split the covers apart. You may need to tap a screwdriver around the edge to gradually remove the cover from the center of the motor. With a small bearing splitter, press the bearing from the motor. Note the orientation of the bearing retainer and be sure to reinstall it before pressing on the new bearing. Remove the 4 screws from the other cover. Support the aluminum ring that the cover is screwed to and press the motor shaft out of the remaining bearing. The cover and bearing will remain together. Press the bearing out of the cover.
Reverse process to assemble. You will need to hold the assembly over your head to align the 3 screws with the retainer plate. It is fiddly, but can be done.
