I was at Shaker Ace Hardware in Latham, New York, and the ceiling fans they were selling (very few of them) were relatively archaic by today's standards. Also went there Wednesday. Not pictured on the display is a Westinghouse Swirl.

What they were willing to sell me that wasn't in white was a choice between a 42" or a 52" Concord Phantom, both in polished brass. I took the former as it cost less, and they had to key it in by department due to its age.

Cool find, that Concord is most likely from the late 90s.

Impressive that they still have Encons from the late 1990 to early 2000's. I would have got the white and brass Encon Crusader.

Funny thing is, I was deciding on either that or the polished brass Monarch, neither of which were an option since the latter was a display piece and the former I'm not too sure if that was as well. I'm not really too big with anything solid white either. The Concord Phantoms seem to be much older judging by the packaging, which is even more impressive.
When I opened up the 42" Phantom I purchased, the code on top of the motor housing appeared to have been written over in permanent marker post-production with the numbers 0490. Possibly a late 1980s or early 1990s fan.

I'm not very much into all white fans either except for some spinners but that Encon Crusader is at least white and brass and not all white. They are selling the display models only? They don't have these fans new in box? I see Encon boxes at the top of the shelve.

Eventually I did give in and buy a white Monarch and Casanova Supreme. The ones I did buy were from September 1998 (Monarch) and November 1999 (Casanova Supreme).

UPDATE: The Swirl was removed when I went there last year.
EDIT: Also got a 52" PB Phantom. Both of these Concords have HWI (Hardware Wholesalers, Inc.) stickers, which makes me wonder if this store was part of the HWI co-op before Ace, or if they got them from another hardware store and re-sold them here.
