A lot of discoveries were made when i got the fans myself especially being in 5he middle east and many fans we have are different than those supplied in the US, u could really learn when u get the fan urself
One example, is the airmaster, for many years the collectors around the US knew that fan as the british airmaster, until i joined the forums, posting it as a relite fan completely unaware that airmaster brand existed and had the same model, and later on it was confirmed that relite was the OEM of the british airmasters in US

I learned a lot by acquiring fans that I have been seeing for a while without knowing much about them. For exemple for a long time, I thought 4 Saisons offered only spinners models without switch housing. When I acquired this top mount model, I realized they offered all sorts of different models with different number of blades, different type of controls such as pull chain operated too and different mounting systems.

I learnt most things about ceiling fans by seeing the videos and the forum, but the biggest discovery of all was when I picked up the fan and saw that it was called Relite Rapide MKII, something new that I learnt about Relite.
