So I see people saying that some ceiling fans are made by Halsey, which I know some are. But the thing is some of them are identified when they are high up on the ceiling in a store or something and I highly doubt the indentifier got up on a ladder to read the label, so they say the pullchain is halsey or it has a detachable switch housing, but even if they can identify that is has a detachable swithc housing, hhow do they know its a halssey one? How do they know the pullchain is halsey when nothing is written on it and Halsey doesn't really have their own information or pictured of their ceiling fans that are vintage or pull chains? I just want to learn more about Halsey since I can never find enough information on them. If I am not mistaken, they went bankrupt, correct?

If you see the UL file number E8196482H4, then it's made by Halsey. If you have a NIB (new in box) Fan, the blades have info that the Fan is made by Halsey. Halsey manufactures Fans for other brands like Gulf Coast, some Harbor Breeze, Modern Fan Co/Period Arts, Monte Carlo, Quorum, etc. Example of a Harbor Breeze Palm Breeze made by Halsey Example of a Modern Fan Co Altus and Cirrus made by Halsey. You're bound to find OEM in canopies when finding Modern Fan Co. Fans, sometimes in switch housings in certain models. Here's a website that shows Fans made by Halsey. www.cccme.org.cn/shop/cccme4217/index.aspxMore pictures of Halsey made Fans may be coming up in here.

Im new to the board and created my own thread elsewhere but I need help replacing the bulbss in my Halsey ceiling fan 54MKB. I bought this house and i was left no documentation. I dont want to rip it off the ceiling by twisting it incorrectly. Can anyone over some insight? It would seem straight forward accept for those little metal strips going out onto the white area. I dont know if they move or are attached. Attachments:

Looks like my Concord Phantom is Halsey-made. Has the UL File No. of E81964 prominently stamped on the box in conjunction with the full file no. of E81964 82H4 on the mounting plate. And it also has a detachable switch housing.
