My living room ceiling fan is a TAT ceiling fan and when I look up the make and model the best result comes to this site, so figured I'd ask my question here. It only has one speed (super fast) since it's only controlled by a light switch. I assume I won't find a speed control made by TAT anymore, would I be able to just buy a speed control and connect it to that or would that not work with such an old fan?

Your TAT ceiling fan can most likely work with a rotary or slide 3 or 4-speed wall control sold today. Just make sure the max amperage of the motor does not exceed the max amperage of the wall control and it will be fine.
