Now I've noticed there are a couple different sellers with old stock Panama II fans on eBay in white, weathered copper, etc. But still very expensive.

Definitely expensive! we ended up going with a Harbor Breeze Notus in white for the kitchen it runs excellent and moves good air. We will see how long it lasts and revisit when it wears out. my wife picked it out so I got to decide all the other ones. The one thing IVe noticed between this and a lot of other harbor breeze models I’ve worked with is that it has a lot more ventilation in the motor. On a side note Noah got a second Dixie belle after being happy with the first and might get a smaller one for another area.

Didn't know what those were until you mentioned it but they seem to be good fans for the money. I'm interested to find out more about that motor; is it skeletal?

They are spinners after doing a little research they are manufactured by Hong Kong China Electrical Appliance Corp like many other Harbor Breezes and a ton of Hunters however unlike Hunters the ones I’ve encountered are silent. Now for how long we shall see. The motor is basically a knockoff of the Hunter Whisperwind motor but has several vents in the top and bottom around the edges and also is open at the bottom more then the whisperwind.

Now were going with something else the ceiling was too angled for the canopy it came with so I bought the Harbor Breeze angled ceiling canopy and still doesn't work because of where the screws are on the electrical box the angle for the downrod to come down through the canopy doesn't work.. Back to square one.. thinking Dixie Belle if I can get my wife on board she loves the one in our bedroom of course she says it moves too MUCH air

Dixie Belle is about the best choice you can make for the kitchen IMO. So many customization options for those. You probably know this but the Design Your Fan configurator on Dan's Fan City is a great resource to use. The power of a Dixie Belle will be appreciated, especially when you're cooking during the summer and you live anywhere that gets hot, trust me. SoCal seems to be experiencing a cool front but as soon as it gets hot, I'm gonna have to wait until night to cook otherwise my kitchen gets too hot. I don't have a ceiling fan in my kitchen.

It’s annoying as can be and it seems like it takes way more time to take a fan apart then it does putting it together and I want this stupid ladder out of the kitchen but I’m not taking it down till this fan is done. At least the scaffolding used for installing my premiums is gone. The online configuration I feel I am on nightly our schedules haven’t coordinated to discuss the fan yet. But at this point it’s gonna be gulf coast or Emerson I’m sure. This is the last fan to be chosen pending my second Supra for the garage works out.

It's because taking apart another fan, no matter how quickly it can be done, feels like going backwards in your case. I've been there, and boy is it frustrating. Between Gulf Coast and Emerson what fans from each lineup are you looking at? Also I'm guessing you've got two Supras; are they both going in the garage?

That is the truth. I just hate waiting in line to return stuff too like seriously they can’t have more than one person working the desk there.
I was looking at the Prima line I was thinking about the premium select in white as there was a like new one on amazon for $88 + blades but it must have sold. The designer I’ve been hearing has low rpms and my wife hates the look of it. Those Hinkleys I might take a second look at the Dixie Belle is definitely still a contender. Also she wants something with a gray wood blade so an old stock Casablanca is now definitely out.
