That the site I was looking at but I couldn't find any decent reviews for them of course between work, being quarantined, and getting all my house affairs set up I'm going crazy Good news is I just sold the Archive Original and another fan so I now have a nice chunk of change ready to rock and roll just have to pick my fan out. If the site you provided is decent I might go that route. I called the Ventura guy today who said he'd call me back in a few minutes later and its now been 5 hours. I might try again if I go that route.

Shame theres no more of them on ebay but now my wifes like I don't know if i want white... UGH lol. They are classic white, more like a cream color, but I also got 2 newer in brushed nickel. there were some nice pictures in that long thread you all helped with. Love it! They were on ebay, I think about $100 each (the white ones). I still have one in the box with the extra K1 light kit. I"ll put it in my other son's room if the Bella Vista ever fails. He uses it all the time and it's been there for probably 15 years so good luck with Bella so far.

Yeah the more I look Classic White is what I'm looking for because snow and architectural white are just too stinking bright. The guy with the Ventura's only had Classic white in IntelliTouch which despite that I love IT I really would prefer a pull chain fan. I'll have to keep hunting I suppose, its a shame I sold the new Archive Original otherwise I'd offer to see if you wanted to trade lol.

the only home I'd have for an archive original would be the garage. It might have peaked my interest but I'm inclined to keep the matching fan for their rooms. I am working on hanging a few in the garage now. One's coming UPS as we speak and I already moved my 5 minute fan that left my family room out there. In that setting it is pretty anemic so it needs some friends.

You're really starting to get a collection going! You'll have to post pictures of your garage fans when you get them all installed that'll be quite cool to see . Now I showed my wife your picture of classic white and says its too yellowish I think its perfect. Now I'm thinking Brushed Nickel to match the appliances white lite wood blades.

Yes, I like the fans but I'm running out of places now. I have 10 up and a second in the garage about to go up, maybe I could take 4 out there. I'll post pictures soon in the other thread to not hyjack yours. If you want brushed nickel the paramounts would be good or the panama DC seems like a good deal. I don't know the consensus on that motor though. I may buy a paramount for the garage because they're just so cheap for what it is. I would have liked to try the pananma DC motor and they are cheaper than what I paid for the XLP (which I converted to pull chain/reverse switch later). The paramounts are big and a bit of boxy looking so probably better for an open space or high ceiling but very sharp, clean-looking, powerful units. I'm really happy with everything I ended up with.

I don't care if my threads hijacked haha. I just pitched the idea of brushed nickel to her but shes a firm no to that. She's still pushing white this is what she wants image.lampsplus.com/is/image/cropped/74K34cropped.fpx?qlt=65&wid=710&hei=710&op_sharpen=1&fmt=jpeg but its just too much money for the risk of quality. And I looked Core Centric already has some that are available that are refurbished. I showed her the white Paramount XP but she just doesn't like it. Every other fan I'm picking in the house but this one will have like 10 hours worth of thought into picking one out haha. The price you can get those Paramount XP's at now is definitely a good bang for the buck. Now I'm thinking about showing her the Premium in white, it'll be expensive but I can live with it.

I've actually heard they're pretty good air movers for the class of fan they're in. At first I was saddened by the discontinuation of the XLP, but the motor is 212mm I believe in the regular Panamas, which explains the excellent air movement.

Lots of conversation happening in the past couple of hours, lol. I looked into CoreCentric solutions and Hunter bought out some of their residential product testing facilities so that they could outsource their quality control instead of doing it in house. Plus Hunter gets to still profit off of the fans that are refurbished after not passing QC or being returned, unlike other companies that usually get rid of or part out fans that don't pass QC and end up losing money on components or sales. Smart business IMO. Wouldn't be too spooked about the units that are being sold through CoreCentric solutions. But $400 is still too much for a Direct Drive Panama. I think that the classic white Panama goes perfectly with the buttercream cabinets; the fan is actually more white than buttercream cabinets are, I believe. The Satin White finish the Premium has isn't quite as "bright white" as the architectural and snow white Casablancas; I think it's a little closer to the "Fresh White" Casablanca has for that Panama you posted an image of. But it's still way brighter than classic white. Pic: Attachment Deleted Also, I found some Emerson Penbrooke Select fans on that same website Cole linked with the Classic White Panamas, same finish as the Premium above. They're cheaper than everything else so far other than the Venturas from the guy who never called you back; these are a little more contemporary than everything else we've looked at but they are K55. Link: m.affordablelamps.com/eme-cf5100sw.htmlQuick question: are all of the fans you're buying going to be brand new, or are open box and used like-new condition items also on your radar? I've actually heard they're pretty good air movers for the class of fan they're in. At first I was saddened by the discontinuation of the XLP, but the motor is 212mm I believe in the regular Panamas, which explains the excellent air movement. The newer Direct Drive Panamas are as good, if not slightly better air movers than the XLP Panamas they replaced; the motor is the same 188×20mm Direct Drive Casablanca has had for 25 years, they just figured out that rubber grommets in the blade screw holes make the fan stack-motor quiet. The concern isn't as much the air movement as it is that Parkman has had many negative experiences with the quality control of post-2011 Hunter and Casablanca products and doesn't want to invest in products he wouldn't be comfortable buying, especially considering the NOS older Panamas linked in the thread for about $100 cheaper per fan, and the Emerson Premiums that are similarly priced to the Panamas. I personally like the new Panamas but wouldn't spend more than $250 including blades for one, and definitely not $400 a fan.

Whats strange is the Ainsworth and Concentra have 172 x 12, 20 or 15. Noah probably knows that. I find that strange as they are all pumping out the same blade span.

I always thought to myself how many shades of white are really needed back when Casablanca had all the white finishes now after this whole thing I'm like my gosh I never want a white fan again haha. Do you have any articles about that? I'd be interested to read about that. I'm amazed how many refurbished fans Core Centric is spitting out for them. I googled pictures of there warehouse before and the amount of volume they have of Hunters are astonishing. I feel like if Hunter put a few dollars more into there motors QC they'd cut the return rate down amazingly. I showed my wife the Penbrooke and she was not a fan which I'm surprised I always had a soft spot for these I randomly discovered them last year and wanted one immediately. I'm always open to open box and like new if the price is right and they are flawless. I've actually heard they're pretty good air movers for the class of fan they're in. At first I was saddened by the discontinuation of the XLP, but the motor is 212mm I believe in the regular Panamas, which explains the excellent air movement. I personally like the new Panamas but wouldn't spend more than $250 including blades for one, and definitely not $400 a fan. Yeah air movement is essential to most of my fans but the kitchen more or less will just be used when the oven is on and as a source of light. And my thing is if it was $100 I'd take the risk but when were in several hundred dollars and for a little more I can go with a Premium or something thats what really makes me question it even more. I agree $250 would be fine for a Panama and you gotta hope the motor will be fine because Hunters recent bearings suck.. However $400 no way were in stack motor country and I'm going all out
